Chelsea are a good side, but by my reckoning they're going through their ''spell'' at the moment. All teams have them at some point during the season, so this is probably as good time as ever to face them.

You're right, he's not played enough for me...but you can tell in the occasions he has played that he is a player. He's a proven Champions League player and he's in our squad, pretty remarkable we got him in the first place. Kudos to Koeman for that one, and if he had the pull to bring him here originally you'd think we have a chance, even if slim, to keep him here long-term.

You can be a bit mental sometimes. If you truly believe that Koemans targets at the start of the season was a Top 4 onslaught and challenge, then you are a bit of a silly man. The target, as well publicized throughout the club in the summer, was if possible....to keep the same level as last year and maybe even do a bit better. I'd say he's smack bang on target and actually probably ahead of where the club believed he'd be and where many fans believed he'd be. So shove your diabolical failure remark back up your arse where it came from.

Will we get the opportunities to iron out our wrinkles though? That's the problem we will have. We will most likely spend the summer trying to replace our best players, the wrinkles will just carry over.

My favorite Connolly goal was the one against M'Boro, 25 pass goal or similar. Was a very good player for us in L1 and even in the NPC. So clever and class in his movement and touch, just a shame injuries finally caught up with him. Will always have fond memories of him at Saints.

I think I know who you mean, he was a good guy but I felt in the end that he was sold a lot of rubbish and took it all a bit too seriously. I think I even thought there was something in it at some point, but when you had the likes of Saint David (Remember him???) and lifelongsaint posting, that started to raise big doubts for me. And then we had the good old fun with the Pinnacle bid, where some familiar names raised their heads above the trenches again - and that takeover would have been a true disaster for us I reckon.
