2nd half was diabolical from us, shows our urgent need to stregthen this window. - esp with the Injures to Gaston and Shaw, on top of Lallana and Fonte. We are stretched. But this is the sort of win you need to grind out when you're down there, and we've shown the attitude and the courage to throw our bodies on the line to see it through.

His best game in a saints shirt, and he really hasnt' done much wrong in any of the games he played. People just getting too precious over that spurs incident.

That is an absolutely enormous win, but at what costs? We didn't deserve to win that at all, that's probably as well as Villa have played for weeks, and were absolute tosh in that 2nd half. We got away scott free today, and with Reading winning, this was a huge, huge, win - especially with the fixtures we have coming up. Can't deny what a pivotal game this is going to be for us.
