Just to clarify although I think he was a great player for us the last year he wasn't at his best, but I'm not convinced Perraud is going to be any better.

Predictions are what we think will happen, not what we want to happen, got to base it on the squad we see today combined with the knowledge its unlikely we'll be able to sign a striker who will replace Ings contribution. We're also looking to sell Vestergaard from what I hear. That £70M loan with Wonga style interest rates needs to start being repaid before the debt cripples the club, we've got a terrible run of fixtures to start the season that is not going to help our momentum, desperately need a flukey win at Goodison to give us a headstart.

Agree with that, not been that impressed with Perraud and Djenepo at left was often out of position. Armstrong looked frustrated and seemed to be moaning at the bench about something, probably saying what's the point making runs with the two wallies Michael and Shane offering nothing in front of him. Luckily we know that's not our strongest team , if it was we should just ask for a fast track to the Championship. New lad from Chelsea looks very capable.

Is Richarlison definitely going to miss it? He always does well against us. I think he went straight from end of last season to Copa America, then pretty much straight from there to Japan for the Olympics so he's had a busy summer but in theory could fly back Sunday or Monday. Calvert-Lewin and Pickford only just back in pre season training as well.
