Great to get the win, and should really have scored 5. Tella really starting to impress, good to have that option, thought Armstrong was excellent again - great running. Ings looking injury prone again, that won't help raise the transfer fee if he's determined to go. He'll miss the cup game v Bournemouth now and the international break, hopefully back after that. Diallo and Minamino looked slow, hopefully just getting up to speed. Bednarek and Vestergaard our best CB partnership.
-
Forster has earnt a chance to have a run in the side, fair play to him, good to see him back.
-
Nathan Redmond's birthday today, got to be a lucky omen, boys will want to get a win and party on the flight home.
-
Or Palace. We've got our hopes up before.
-
Thanks , 6 defenders out sounds like something any team would struggle to cope with, let alone a side at the bottom, something Ralph will hopefully be able to target as a weakness. We had one defender out (KWP) and couldn't cope so fingers crossed.

Interesting, those odds seem quite attractive to back Sheff Utd, even if you take a form table over 15 games they are ahead of us so it's not a short term change of fortune.
-
Have Sheff Utd appealed the red card? Ive read a few comments saying they have a number of defenders injured already, what's the true reflection of that? Reminds me a bit of Palace away first game of the season when they supposedly had no fit first team defenders and beat us 1-0.

Always thought Brooks at Bournemouth was a good player. Not many others that stand out. Norwich are definitely coming back up, hopefully Brentford with them to have a chance to do the new ground if things are back to normal. I'd like to see Barnsley come up through the play offs, decent trip and would struggle in the Prem (assuming we stay up of course)

They've got easy chance for 3 points on Sunday
-
It was a good one, end to end battle, 3-2 win , and the pitch invasion where we celebrated staying up in the Championship! Think our fan base had more realistic ambitions then .
-
He was popular with the boo boys. David McGoaldrought he was fondly called, fair play to him still playing and scoring in the top flight, international recognition as well.
-
Big few days coming up, Fulham have managed draws recently with Spurs and Liverpool so will fancy their chances. Hopefully they lose both and end the momentum of their unbeaten run. Spurs really need to go for the win to put them back in the top4 race.
-
Sheffield United have already won 3 home games in 2021 and are way ahead of us in form (last 10 games) , I've not checked the odds but would expect bookies to make them favourites.
-
I thought they were impressive, reminded me of the Sheff Utd of last season who seemed to grind out single goal victories, Ramsdale looking confident. Red card could be overturned like the Bednarek one after Man Utd.
-
Nepal away in a world cup qualifier later this month, must be great doing away trips as an Australia fan. Not sure if I'd be too impressed if a 1st team regular had to make that journey though.
-
Despite the result (losing 2-0 at home to Liverpool) you couldnt fault Sheffield United's effort on Sunday evening. Similar against us will make it a real battle. I'll watch their game tonight, my hope is similar levels of effort against Villa and they'll be spent by Saturday, nothing left in the tank with realisation of relegation kicking in.
-
No, we won't.

I think you're right, it's sad to see but mentally he has no appetite for a battle or to prove people wrong, he looks like if he's criticised for being shit he'd just shrug his shoulders and say yeah I know. Get him a couple of games in the u23s, a chance to just enjoy playing with no pressure then bring him back after the international break.
-
Some of the u23 games I've seen Ramsey in he's played centre back, has he just been filling in there or is that his preferred position?
-
Thanks for sharing that, brings back memories of a cracking away day, sun shining, loads of good pubs, 3000 Saints fans in the away end. Adams looked a proper striker in that first half, very unlucky with shot and header, good technique for both. Our recent record is good against the Blades, need that to continue on Saturday, it will be interesting to watch their game on Wednesday against Villa , at some point they'll mentally stop fighting and accept they are down.

Armstrong showed what a difference it can make having a player who can actually run with the ball, box to box, what we were missing was anyone making runs into space to play off him, several times he wanted to play a one-two with no one there to support him.
-
They also play again on Wednesday, we're their 3rd game in 6 days, could be a 0-0.
-
Based on body language neither of them look like they want to be out there playing. For me Redmond is a sad story really, it's not happening for him and he knows it, I've genuinely never see a player so devoid of belief, remember Pep praising him as one of the best.
-
Are we still paying him? Sack Ralph and bring him back, revive the song about "going to keep us up, win the FA Cup " His inspired leadership leading the players off the coach and walking to the ground at Swansea kept us up.
-
He looks like he really doesn't want the ball to me, Ralph should do him a favour and give him a couple of weeks off. Armstrong put in a great shift. Djenepo and Vestergaard should have taken chances. Our side towards the drop continues. One win in how many now? Goals scored in 2nd half is unbelievable stat!!
