Any idea if any of these streams work on iPad? i can't get either of the two above to work, just says "error loading player no playable sources found"
-
There is still loads of availability so unless you particularly want to sit in a specific seat / block just relax and wait for the initial rush to finish and purchase your tickets later today / tomorrow, there is enough to go round. the hospitality options offered by the club are very good as well, such as £30 in the Saints Bar for best seats in the house. has anyone got the link to the Vitesse forum where they say they've sold over 1000 of their allocation for this?
-
it does seem crazy that they didn't just give us the whole stand behind the goal. obviously this game will be more popular than the last due to playing a massive club like Saints and the Koeman factor. personally i think it will drop lower than season ticket holders with 7 away games - there will be some who won't want to travel, especially some of our older fans. such cheap prices there is no risk buying in the home end if you can , £10 tickets
-
I'm sure a half and half scarf will be sufficient. I wonder how Vitesse ticket sales are going for their trip here, they'll be getting ready to set off this time next week. I've got a feeling that we might get a few more tickets, if it was just the usual 1200 away end that would have been easy for them to agree on and announce rather than waiting 6 days faffing.
-
Looks like they've just put in a blanket kick off time for all games, no way Israel will kick off at 8.05pm uk time for example. I do think they should have confirmed ko time by now as they are selling tickets, the difference between 7.45 and 08.05pm kick can be significant when trying to make connections home on the train
-
i do think it is strange that kick off times have not been confirmed for either leg, it could make a big difference for some people getting trains home, i assume they are waiting to see if the game is covered by a tv company and when they want us to play, but the club should really push for a decision on this today

Really hard to call how it will work out, the Dutch can be really laid back and tolerant, almost overly friendly, but I've also seen them go the other way when it comes to football with heavy handed policing. I think if anything its better if more and more saints buy in the same area - the sheer numbers will mean its not worth their while trying to stop everyone getting in and the locals and stewards will have to put up with it. One precedent for this - Fulham v Wisla Krakow in Europa league, massive numbers of Poles in one area of home end, as game wasn't sold out Fulham invited home fans to move to other parts of the ground virtually sanctioning an unofficial away end. From what I've read about Arnhem its a friendly enough club so don't think our fans need to worry too much, just don't act up in the home end family section as would understand them quite rightly having a pop. Fans can always choose to wear the Koeman orange t-shirts and wigs to merge in with the home crowd. Will be interesting to see how many they bring over here and how that goes.

Looks ideal, that will obviously be the focal point for drinking all day on the Thursday with the flags up around the square. If everyone's drinking outside anyway I'll get a few cans at a fraction of the price and drink there anyway. Has anyone posted on Vitesse fans website to recommend Yates and King Alfred for the leg at St Marys?

Brilliant - do you need to download anything to watch on this ? i'll be using an iPad, rubbish with technology so any advice appreciated. thanks

Linfield would be good, they got a good result there. Shame to see some fans not embracing the true beauty of this competition is drawing teams in the middle of nowhere and the fun you then have trying to get there, the most convenient trip is dull. Shame to see Jerusalem thrashed, they'll need a miracle in 2nd leg back in the holy land

It's an interesting point, it makes sense for members to have first pick of tickets but they should then give season ticket holders next priority to buy extra seats before finally going on general sale. For the big games when away teams take the full allocation there will still be about 8000 home end tickets on sale which should always mean anyway who wants a ticket and buys on firat day of sale will get one. Worth dropping a email to the ticket office to ask them about this.
-
i wouldn't worry too much about away allocations, if you don't get a ticket you'd most likely still get in the home end, or in the case of a couple of England away games i've been on they still just let you in the away end with a home end ticket, or some of the grounds are so small you can watch over the wall

I think you might be overestimating the appetite for Europa league football The9. I'd love to see us sell out but don't think we'll get that many due to - we always struggle to sell tickets this time of year, even for attractive Premier League fixtures. - Unglamorous opposition many fans won't have heard off (an attraction for me but not the masses) - probably very few away fans attending so we'll have more tickets than normal to sell. Champions League 2nd qualifying round starts tonight will be interesting to monitor progress in that with some teams due to potentially join us in the play off round http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/season=2016/matches/index.html

Despite the cheap prices there will be a lot of tickets to shift for this game, as with all cup games there will be a number of season ticket holders who don't go plus it is very likely not many away fans will be in attendance so we'll probably have virtually the whole Northam stand to sell. You would have thought a lot of people will take the opportunity to take kids along with it being the school holidays and cheap prices. I reckon we'll have about 24k for Europa game, hospitality will be quite empty.

Don't wish him the best at all, hopefully he struggles to get in Uniteds team (tough competition) which will see him suffer a drop in confidence and form , chatting to chubby Shaw on the bench they can compare their bank balances. His outburst last year was very unprofessional and showed a massive lack of respect for the club. At least getting the deal done now we can move on and hopefully invest the money wisely.

FFS get a grip and direct your sympathy towards a more deserving cause, poor old Morgan, they player who wants to LEAVE the club you claim to support and you want to help him along on his way. Who cares who he ends up with, if he leaves he's no longer our player just another member of the opposition on the pitch.

It depends on location, west ham only found out last night as if both Malta clubs went through their game (1st leg next week) would be switched. Lucky for them Valletta went out but even still they couldn't book up. Iceland is another problem country. Its due to number of uefa suitable stadiums to use. As we go through the rounds most clubs left will be able to use their own grounds.

Gaston Ramirez could be a good addition to our attacking options having spent time at Hull you'd hope he had adjusted to Premier League football more and will be well suited to Europa league, along with Mane, Long, Rodriguez, Juanmi , Pelle some good options there. Just a shame we couldn't keep our defensive unit together and such a serious injury to Forster is unfortunate. Does anyone know much about tonight's opponents? Sounds like it will be an experimental saints side
-
The biggest disappointment of all this if he does sign for Spurs is out of last seasons successful back 5 we'll be faced with Forster in the treatment room for most of the year, Bertrand with no pre season, Clyne and Alderweireld to our closest 'league' rivals , at least last year we lost players for massive fees which softened the blow. I bl00dy hate Spurs and Liverpool, Pochetinno and Rogers just hope we manage to beat them both next season.
-
Let's be honest Schneiderlin is a bit of a stroppy frenchman , after last summers tantrums I struggle to care much about whether he stays or goes just hope we get a good price and he faila by Luke Shaw proportions at United

i went last time in 2001, we had about 500 there on a Sunday but the home end was completely full, Pierre Van Hooidonk scored the only goal i think. any Saints fans considering making the trip i would recommend it, great ground to do and a nice place to visit. I had a look a couple of weeks ago and flights from Southampton to Amsterdam seemed quite reasonable, as did the London airports, might have changed a bit now though. can't see us taking more than a couple of hundred this time with Europa League the following week.
