Good spot that, just over 500 unsold tickets left in the family centre, what are the restictions for buying in there? can you only buy an adult if also buying U16? not surprising that area will have empty seats for midweek games not in school holidays. what would they do if rest of the ground was sold out ? Surprised Villa aren't bringing many, i noticed on twitter they were running free coaches, but think this was limited to the first 10 coaches booked up, still means about 5-600 of them will be travelling for free, plus they have decent support from around Banbury / Oxford area straight down the A34. the fact we are yet to sell out a home game despite our good start to the season hopefully will be noted when it comes to setting next years prices.

One other bit of advice on top of what Steve has said above, the TV games for that weekend have not been chosen yet so there is a possibility the date and time could change. other than that, i think it will be very easy for you to get 4 tickets together in the neutral area right next to the official away section. Fulham are struggling to sell tickets at the moment.

I'm sure Jason Dodd will make sure the lads know what's expected of them, and so will the crowd. I went to the 2-0 defeat to Everton last year which was very disappointing so hope this is better.

not at all, a local derby is still a local derby at any level, especially when the 1st teams are not in the same division. Blackburn played Burnley a couple of years ago and had a crowd of 12k odd , i reckon we'll have 5-6k for this .

we still haven't sold out a home game have we? Aston Villa and Man City have been on sale for 10 days and neither game has sold out yet. Certainly no rush to buy and anyone who wants a ticket can get one. Probably a good thing as it is well over priced for the average man on the street to afford on a regular basis.

Really looking forward to this one now, more so than the Arsenal game for some reason and think we've got a good chance as long as shaw + lovren are back in. I think it helps that the hype has died down a bit and expectations going into the match will be more realistic. last week we had talk of saints going top, and Terry Venables wrote in The Sun that we were the new Barcelona . this week we could drop to 8th before we play taking us off the radar a bit. seen some good saints performances at Stamford Bridge over the years , I'm going to predict a re-run of the 1992 ZDS cup area final 2nd leg 3-1 win to saints

Chelsea are putting out a strong side tonight v Basle away, fingers crossed the pick up some injuries
-
I agree with this, thought it was noticeable several times on Saturday , like a spoilt child having a tantrum, he needs to realise those other players have taken us from league one to top 4 of the Premier league and he needs to earn the right to get in the side. he also looked greedy on the ball, perhaps desperate to impress , but for me he is yet to show enough to claim a place in the starting XI and has similarities to Ramirez. a friend of mine at work (Italian) watches a lot of serie A games and said Osvaldo will have a fight with one of his own players at some point this season, lets hope Pochettinos experience of managing him in the past will help control him.
-
exactly this, i was amazed , perhaps i am missing something but like Barry says above people near us , silent for much for the match enjoying their trip to the Emirates stadium seemed to come to life to shout Theo! at the end, a player who acheived or contributed nothing to us as a club other than his transfer fee. perhaps they were Arsenal fans.
-
Any news on the injuries we have? Hope Lovren is back, we'll definitely need him, and a fully fit Luke Shaw. by the time we kick off we could have already slipped down the table , not much seperating 2nd and 9th.
-
they'll probably announce it on the day of the game to ensure no fans have time to make it down there. the game has until 21st December to be played, so still a few weeks away i should think.

Anyone travelling up by train on Sunday there are engineering works between clapham and wimbledon., trains from Southampton taking 2 hours to Waterloo.

the point about loyalty points has been a running joke since they launched it. for away games ticket sales goes to season ticket holders with x number of away games then down to just season ticket holders , then general sale, surely after season ticket holders it should be non-season ticket holders with x number of away games to give priority to those who go regularly but don't have a season ticket ahead of someone who hasn't been all season
-
let's be honest , they don't give a shlt about travelling saints fans and just see us as an inconvenience who they want to sell as few tickets as possible to, regardless of how the support gives the team a lift at away games. they've outsourced the travel club if they could they'd do the same with away tickets they would
-
good, and as long as they recorded the sale against your name and customer number you'll have no problem getting tickets for future matches as you'd be a recognised customer
-
I recall this game happening a few years back , I didn't go as was living away at the time but fans were allowed in at st Mary's , I believe it was restricted to showing saints season tickets or membership cards which they used to issue in those days
-
I've counted 4 occasions now where that's happened , w&nkers like Rooney so greedy
-
everytime Lallana has been on for a pass they have chosen a more difficult option, doesn't look good for him out there, his face doesn't fit with the usual clique
-
hate Ian Wright, seeing stuff like this makes me pleased he got so much abuse from the lower east stand at the Dell back in the 90s
-
they'd surely only do that at the request of the police ? otherwise I think FA Youth Cup games have to be held at the main ground. skates are 1-0 up after half an hour
-
i think if you gave Pompey fans the choice they would rather lose to non-league minnows Barton (what division are their first team in??) than lose to us.
-
This time though it will be a cup game, so not limited to who is in our U18 or U16 academy squads , but anyone 18 or under at the start of the season i think, so we could play the likes of Chambers, Reed etc, which we should do as a) the FA Youth Cup is still prestigious, b) those players still need more experience playing in games at St Marys rather than Staplewood and c) i'd love to smash the skates and looks like we've got a while before that will happen at first team level.
-
i think Berahino is out injured now as someone else was called up as a replacement. Good to see Shaw rested for this, he wouldn't gain much experience from playing against San Marino at Shrewsbury and we need him 100% for Arsenal on saturday.
-
lets not get carried away, i seem to recall their academy beating ours last season (or might have been season before) . they should beat Barton Rangers tongiht so we'll find out soon enough. i think FA youth cup games have to charge a minimum of £3 adults, £1 kids, we'd get a good crowd in for that i think.

is their keeper with Poland? Giroud playing for France? would help us if they have a tough game tonight v Ukraine.
