Have they got a new manager yet, that will be another thing that will result in a home win
-
Pointless looking that far ahead in such an inconsistent league, look at Middlesbrough losing 5 then winning 6 impossible to tell form, plus bound to be more suspensions and injuries as bookings mount up.
-
Another observation, we now have 24 points after 14 games. Last season we achieved 25 points in 38 games. Winning home games, feelgood atmosphere at the final whistle, fans enjoying themselves again.

Agree, Bree might not offer as much going forward but gives us aerial presence and is much more clinical in a challenge than Manning ever is, proper defender and we need that
-
2nd half we reverted to walking football trying to kill off the game and atmosphere suffered as a result, generally for a 12.30 game thought crowd was good. Would expect full house for next game v WBA being 3pm not on the tele

He's more the Latvian George Clooney now rather than Michael Owen , think he could tell he was well remembered and loved by the fans
-
Thought THB was dominant in the air, made plenty of interceptions and scored a nice goal, was surprised when the stadium announcer said Bednarek was man of the match Midfield looks more coordinated than recent games, can see that bit more quality with players like Stuart Armstrong so comfortable on the ball. Important win but top two look uncatchable, surely Ipswich will have a stumble at some point

He sounds like a disciple of our Russ https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/12993251/wayne-rooney-responds-to-boos-birmingham-fans-need-to-be-patient
-
Shouldn't really laugh, but in the context of Martin moaning about negative fans at St Mary's here is Mr Rooney enjoying his first home game as Birmingham manager
-
They've sold full away end , early kick offs usually quite flat atmosphere but might be bit livelier
-
Use their correct name as they're now known - Wayne Rooney's Birmingham
-
I thought Preston were very limited side, but if your defence is as bad as ours can't blame other teams for using that tactic. 24 goals conceded already this season, not good enough
-
we were warned by Swansea fans about Martins inability to defend, one positive this season has been a few quid each game on both teams to score , banker
-
We also don't midfield very well, always seem to be lacking balance.
-
I watched back the goals from our promotion season and realised what a difference it made to have someone like Lambert, won us so many games and we have no one like him now.
-
Agree with all points. We'd be better off with a David McGoaldrought from that era, Mara is like the invisible man such little impact on the game. Overall the team deserved a point, gifted PNE a couple of goals , despite being 5th we have the (joint) worst defence in the division and it shows. We were missing players today but its a huge black mark on Martin's record.
-
No depth at all in some positions, assume Kwp left back ?
-
Looking at our line up I think Martin is banking on them being poor, no chance we keep a clean sheet with that defence
-
You'd like to think common sense they'd just let fans pay on the day with so many empty seats, worth giving Preston a call. I do know if you buy a ticket and it doesn't arrive they can arrange for you to collect a duplicate at the away ground as I've done it already this season, hopefully they can sort something out.

Lots of tough trips and those numbers are even more impressive when you consider only two of the games were Saturday 3pm with the rest on sky. 3055 already sold out for Millwall, we'll easily sell out Watford and QPR as well.
-
Could be record (low) viewing figures, especially with champions league on tnt at the same time
-
Bring in Charles for PNE game, allow Smallbone to push forward and give S. Armstrong a rest on the bench to come on after an hour, best compromise I think and provides us a bit more cover in defence.
-
"and we've got Joe Aribo" fits The best team on the south coast is a struggle though
-
Very hard game to predict, looking at the league table it's a real 6 pointer. Both teams currently sat in the play off places but with negative goal differences Preston had a superb start to the season but have now gone 5 games without a win , fans are getting restless https://www.pne-online.net/forum/index.php?threads/new-poll-needed-rl-sacked-or-not.3439214/ Tough one on the fans, 500 mile round trip on a Wednesday night having just been to Hull and back, looks like we've sold about 1400 so far which is a top effort but will look quite empty in an end that holds 5000 Can still buy match tickets and book travel , half term school holidays so why not treat the whole family https://www.nickssaintsawaytravel.co.uk/?fbclid=IwAR3rE2qqjA36SPBAen2eMmMXQNKNXK44FSDtGejRl9L86vblYZghPyQW9Sc#!/preston-league-game https://www.southamptonawaytravel.co.uk/shop/sky-bet-championship/preston-north-end/?fbclid=IwAR1q6CH4Lt15H-OBoVrKUH7yJ0LIHKbTjSj4p3RFk8yTEko-bN6W3xRxQRU

Is Manning suspended now? Not too worried about losing him but we don't have many options to replace?
