Think it was Ward Prowse, thought it was goal bound for a minute
-
Should have directed him to MLGs twitter who would have informed him we're definitely not has beens, in fact quite the opposite we had the youngest average age starting XI in the Premier league for several years.
-
Brilliant win last night, proper battling performance turning over one of the "big" teams, thought the atmosphere was superb best it's been for a while and was definitely noticed by Ralph.
-
Another terrible record at St Mary's almost as bad as the Man Utd one, Saints 1 v 3 Chelsea.
-
In some ways things would be much better if we had a ground holding 25,000, we'd sell it out to Season Ticket Holders and regular members which would reduce the day tripper glory hunters somewhat. Still a problem with the corporate boxes though. Imagine a chap in a United shirt somewhere like Elland Road, wouldn't last 5 mins. Just get the feeling some within the club management want to cleanse the fan base, get rid of any rowdy areas that create a bit of atmosphere, make it a completely sanitised experience for Premier League soccer action. Still think best times for me were the league one and championship years as a match going fan.

I know two season ticket holders in the Kingsland who gave up last year just not enjoying the whole premier league experience, paying a fortune to experience nonsense like your example. Ironically they are more likely to come back if we get relegated Edit - This was meant to be a reply to Ant.

Saints would love to copy what Fulham had and introduce a neutral area, cash in on southern glory hunters
-
Played ok, poor finishing, disappointing, not surprising, United to make it 20 years since they lost at St Mary's, hate playing them here.
-
Will be even worse on Tuesday, at least today was restricted sale to those on database, Chelsea has been on complete open general sale for weeks
-
I actually think Saints are hoping fans react and cause a scene so they can proclaim LOOK MORE ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR, there seems to be a campaign to make it sound like a visit to St Mary's is like the 1980s Den like the statement they put out today about scenes at the Leeds game (there were none)
-
To be fair Stephens was starting every game at the start of last season and looked one of our best players before injury at Man City away.
-
If they get £70M for Fofana they should give us at least £20M of that for Bednarek
-
When did we last win a game without him?
-
Yeah crazy really, will be our last home game before a 7 week break so might help attract a bigger crowd.
-
All midweek slots are taken by Premier league games (2), international break, and champions / europa league as they are finishing the group stages before the world Cup I think. This round is just before the world Cup so can't see some players wanting to risk injury. Sheffield Wednesday should bring down a few, 2000 or so will help make it a decent cup atmosphere if priced right.

Comfortable win, could have scored a few more, good run out for a few players. Cracking away day Cambridge, hope we get them in the FA Cup to have more chance to tick off some more of the pubs on the long walk from the station to the ground
-
Looking forward to this one, new ground and opponents, hopefully similar score line to round 2 last season. Most likely a complete change to the starting XI but should still put out a strong side, we've sold out 1500 fair way to go midweek , could do without penalties making it any later.

It's a good point you make, going to revise my prediction to 3-1 Leicester (Vardy to score anytime)
-
Hopefully we keep them together as a unit to develop, see how they get on in the Papa John's Trophy, day out at Wembley for the final get our name on that cup again
-
He had a fair few good games for us as well during his run of form, strange club Leicester, seems a good time to be playing them but just can't see us getting the win, 1-1
-
Why don't you call the Saints ticket office and ask if any disabled tickets are available for Cambridge away? Most away ends / allocations have some
-
Will probably get added to Saints website tomorrow once they've finished adding them all up. My guess would be 31,100 , plenty of corporate empty and Itchen north not allowed to be full
-
Some in Kingsland North, one chucked out for celebration, his mate stayed behind and got a drink poured over his head from what I could see.
