3 points. Simple as that. We will look at the video, Debrief. Draw a blue line and move on to the next one. Just keep chipping away. Support was brilliant. LB injury looks serious, xrays. Shut down now for the forseeable. Together as one. chipping away. 3 points. Blue line . Move on.

Rory McIlrory proves that there is no such thing as cast iron certainty. Not many would have bet against him this time yesterday. No budgeting for defeats, that is not professional. one game at a time, 3 points at a time. The squad will have to dig deep for this one, as we are now running without 3/4 key players. Yes we are in the box seat, but we have to finish the job now. We are not relying on other results, so it is completely in our hands. It is within touching distance, but like a marathon, the half way point is at about 20/21 miles. A win on Tuesday will be a big boost to maintaining the momentum we currently have, and another step along the path. But that's it. COYR.

Perhaps we can negotiate a goal keeper to PAFC as part of the settlement.

Saints sign 21 year old Dale Stephens on loan - official
Eaststander replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
The reason it turns to moaning is because no one has actually seen him play in a Saints short yet, so the half glass full lot talk him up to be another Messi, and the half glass full brigade put him the keith Cassells class. Truth is he is somewhere in-between. If he was a world beater SAF would have snapped him up by now. He is here for 10 games to do a cover job and help get us promoted. If it all goes to plan then who knows, we can both look longer term. If he turns out to be another JP then thanks, and its the A34, M40, M6 for him. -
No Ifs, No Buts, We Have To Win Tomorrow To Go 2nd!!!

Or it could put the pressure on. The mind set changes once we have caught up and we are being chased. I always thought and knew March would be the key month. The key will be to keep the momentum going, a win will do that, but so too will an away draw. A good result ahead of 10 day break will be good. Especially as we seem to struggle after a break so far this season. -
Think Sky have arranged an alternative game now.

That was probably the fat guy who seemed to have left his shirt in the coach.

Control the controllables, and let everyone else worry about us. Nothing has changed with tonghts results. Stop panicking Mr Mainwairing.

Davis Speedie and Kerry Dixon

11 wins = 33 points 3 draws = 3 points 4 loss = 0 points total = 36 points from 18 games or 2 points per game 48 +36 = 84 points - which doesn't feel enough. So suggest you do the maths until you are happy that we will go up. Then sit back and watch the reality. Unless of course we make a special case to the FL that we should be promoted on the basis of a prediction forecast. What will be will be.

It's all turned very flakey. Like most of the so called ITKers.

I heard we were getting Toby Le Rone on loan until the end of he season too.

And nor would there have been cars lining the streets behind the Milton end in the 1930's. Not sure that the electricity pilons next to the power station?where Toys R Us is now would have been there either. The running track looks good though doesn't it. I think it was taken from a spit the ball competition in the echo.

It was 25/1 Chaplow to score first goal

Adkins interview on Football Focus at 12:15pm today
Eaststander replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Disappointed that he got pulled up for using cliches, and he didn't mention buildings or buses once. -
You couldn't make it up could you. Oh, I think they just did. next stop Aresenal, Man City, Liverpool, no Fulham. I think we'd all bit a bit surprised, and mighty peeved if this one came true. But when your only transfer story is Darren Bent what else do you write about.
-
Ask them when they are going to open the phone lines. It's obviously not 7am as advertised!
-
And I hope they enjoy the game too.

So we can conclude that we are half way through the season and nothing is yet decided. All to play for. What a surprise.

I seem to remember NA already stated that offers would be made and if they came off great if they didn't then move on with the squad we have. The issue with a "marquee" signing is the disruption that it could bring to the current squad who are clearly working with and for each other at the moment. The first 16/17 players in the squad now know there role in the squad/ team. One of the most impressive pieces of NA's management so far has been the use of the full squad without the use of the dreaded term "rotation". He picks teams on a horses or courses basis, and the players understand and seem to support each other in that strategy. You could argue that the one member who didn't get this strategy was loaned out to Milwall, and we may have played AOC a little more than will be good for a 17 year old first year professional in the long run. I still don't get some people on here who are not happy unless we sign a player every week. The squad is the strongest, it's now a question of managing it to produce to it's potential.

one game at time perhaps?

He's in the building, he has my support

We are building a club here, that means having a squad of players. DS may have had off games in some peoples eyes, and clearly RJ is in the twilight of his career, but we need both this year. DS was a strategic buy and is still developing, and has taken great leaps forward since his arrival here, and the beginning of the season. For those who are critical of DS I suggest that you take a look at the video of the first 20 mins of the Huddersfield game last week when RJ had what can only be described as a mare. But using his experience he pulled himself and the team together and turned it around, turning into a hero. RJ can't play two games a week and we will get injuries and further suspensions, so stop trying to pick an 11, and look at the squad position where at CB we especially need continuity and understanding between all the CB's.

A "hands off warning" usually loses to a "come and get me plee" in the long run. All just paper talk, with no match reports to write, on day 3 the story gains momentum as it is rewritten by those that didn't have the idea in the first place.

That Peter Ward can be a handful too.
