Anyway, get the feck in saints, it looks like things could be coming together now, with the return of Cork and introduction of Shaw giving us a solidity that looked totally beyond us 3 weeks ago. Wigan is our worst result of the season, but I remain confident that we will win more than we lose against the weaker sides and this will be enough to keep us up which is mission accomplished even if we're 17th.

Finishing 17th is success this season. We can achieve that regardless of the size of today's battering. The elements that aren't good enough - Davies, Fox definitely, Fonte, Hooiveld probably - will be weeded out and replaced, we will get stronger and hopefully in 2/3 seasons we will be an established premiership force. It's all about scraping by with what we've got at the moment, at least until January, and having 1 more point than 3 other sides at the end of the season. All that said, if we lose to Villa next week I am going to start worrying that this season could be a complete embarrassment.
