We would get the best out of JWP if he had better forward players around him. When he plays for England, he’s much more positive with the ball and always looks to go forward. For Saints, he’s just another cog in the ‘ball recycling’ process. He is a great player.

I just see Ralph as a hindrance. I can’t see us beating Watford. That really should be the end for Ralph. In my opinion, it feels like the board is dithering and just delaying the inevitable.

Several good performances today. Top performers for me were Salisu, very dominant, and Diallo - his best performance in a Saints shirt.

I’m pleased for Mike Ashley. Put loads of his own dough into the club to pay off debts, gives a bit of transfer cash out, and buys the fans a beer every now and then. Good luck to him.
