  1. I'm a gnats fart away from chucking Sky in anyway because of the cost. It's only the sport that keeps me subscribing. No way will I pay more than the £118.99 I already pay them every month. I also don't pay-per-view anything any more. Hopefully the likes of Netflix and Facebook will be more attracted to the international rights than the domestic ones. Disposable income hasn't really gone up since 2008. There is a limit to what people will pay, it can't be far away.
  2. Steve Guppy?
  3. Between the Liverpool game and the Everton one, they had a clear the air.
  4. Things have definitely changed since the squad and the manager had it out. It's certainly better now. More urgency going forward, more positive with the passing (apart from Davis on Sunday for their goal). Austin up top banging them in, and Redmond showing what a better player he is on the right. If he buggers around with all this and slips back to the negative play, I would say goodbye. If he builds on what he's got, then we'll be OK. He should know enough about the league and his squad by now. The players seem behind him, they weren't behind Puel. Hopefully, he'll push on.
  5. More press speculation today about going for Walcott in January.
  6. Boufal might have given the ball away a few times today, but he worked his socks off and did a decent job covering Bertrand.
  7. We certainly look quicker and more purposeful going forward.
  8. Redmond was decent in the second half.
  9. We'll win it. We have a golden generation of players, the best centre-forward in the world and Gareth Southgate. Hopefully he'll get Stuart Pearce and Terry Butcher involved to fire them all up.
  10. Unlucky that all 3 of our centre-backs didn't score tonight. Lovely touch by Boufal for our goal. Looking forward to Sunday.
  11. F*cking rotate. We wait all season for someone who can finish, then we drop him! We're playing wing backs, and our centre-forward who scored 2 with his head from crosses on Sunday is dropped. Madness.
  12. This. Some people play too much Football Manager.
  13. If we could spend the money on the right players in January, I wouldn't be that bothered if he went.
  14. Keep him.
  15. Oh dear. Are you saying he should have been on his line then? Bullsh*t.
  16. Yes, Everton were very poor. But, tactically we were a little different today. Our movement was much better, and we were much more forward-thinking in possession.I can't say I was disappointed in anyone's performance today. Excellent.
  17. Looked really good. He is getting the run in the side now that he needs.
  18. Great goal!!!
  19. Bertrand looks a lot happier playing with Boufal down the line.
  20. Great goal. Some really decent performances so far.
  21. Thierry Henry talking about Puel like he's some sort of managerial genius. He's like a broken record.
  22. Really pleased we're sticking to the same formation with 1 up front again. We are obviously blessed with attacking players, which is why we have an Italian international on the bench.
  23. I haven't seen any pressing and our slow and laborious build-up play is really easy to play against.
  24. Sticking by him makes him look worse though. For me, he's got enough credit in the bank to move forward from sacking his manager.
  25. The issue is the manager. Puel and Pellegrino are both too negative and their teams too slow.
