  1. Sad to hear that. I played Tyro football with his son for a couple of years. Rolland never missed a game and was an absolute gentleman. Thoughts with Matthew and the rest of the family.
  2. Much better second half. Thought Clasie was our best player. Was asking a few questions of our manager before the game. I don't think anyone else would have selected that XI. But we won the game and will have a few fresher players for the away game at Stoke.
  3. Can't see why he'd want to stay at the moment to be fair. That said, he did sign a 6 year deal. Can't see the club turning decent money down for him though, they'd sell their own grandmothers.
  4. We'll find out today.
  5. They would if they were going to quadruple their investment when the business is sold.
  6. Puel's tactics last night were negative and shocking. Lets hope he's intelligent enough to learn from it.
  7. You can't deny it didn't when Adkins was sacked...... Just saying.
  8. He's still a decent player. Your reward for loyal service is a free Big Mac brother. Don't forget it.
  9. Can see both sides of the argument in this one. A player who isn't getting any younger, probably with his best days behind him. A player who has been magnificent for us and extremely loyal. Personally, I would offer him an extra year as a reward for his service. If he chooses not to take it, then he could leave with the club's best wishes.
  10. He looks physically stronger now. Maybe that's what was missing.
  11. No they're not. It would seem that man has got a lot to answer for.
  12. I think the touch from the Palace player done him for the second. Hard for him to adjust from there.
  13. You can't hang him for the mistake yesterday, it was a total fluke. Against Arsenal in the week, he didn't have many saves to make but he absolutely commanded his penalty area. Hopefully this is something that is being coached into him. Get off his back.
  14. Was thinking the same thing, makes no sense whatsoever. Give him a pay rise and sell him for a lot less than you would have done beforehand.
  15. Right as well, in my opinion. The bloke is a jellyfish.
  16. With the sheer number of games we're playing, and the changes to the team match by match, it's hardly surprising we throw in a poor performance every now and then.
  17. F*cking rotate. And still some people can't accept the result of a democratic vote. Anti-democrats like Blair, Major and buctootim should hang their heads in shame.
  18. Put yourself in Radford's position. The club put him to stay at Mr Xs house, where he was abused. The club aren't directly guilty, but they must take some of the responsibility. Interesting that we had such a conveyor belt of talent coming through in the 80s. You would have thought that clubs would have been falling over themselves to recruit Mr X. They didn't. The current club can't be held responsible for this mind you.
  19. Smug ***t posting on the Internet shocker!
  20. Think yourself lucky if you got on the 23:05. I couldn't get on it. Got on the next one, and we all got told to get off after a few minutes and go back and get info for the next train. Got on the next train, which after being on it for what seemed an eternity, didn't leave the station because of a problem with the doors. Eventually got on another train, didn't go all the way to Southampton, we had to get off at Basingstoke and get a bus to Southampton. Got home at 4am. Never again.
  21. Looking forward to it. Best ground I've been to, and that includes Wembley. I may be slightly intoxicated by kick-off time. If you see me, say hello.
  22. He was about in the 80s. Not at all surprised that this has resurfaced.
  23. Just like Les Reed, write Puel off at your peril. Great display today, with a starting XI that nobody else would have picked.
