I couldn't disagree more. I reckon we are a more capable team than our position shows. I do agree about tactical nous to a certain extent though. That and individual errors have cost us a fair bit this season. Relegation would not be positive in any way. The vultures will pick off our best players.

Agree with what you say about Gazza. But with Davis, it isn't just about today. I can't make a judgement on Boruc, but the fact that he hasn't claimed the jersey speaks volumes. Our keepers have been a liability this season. We need to sign someone soon, otherwise they'll continue to cost us points.

40 will be enough. Definitely not beyond us if we add to the team quickly in January. Keeper, defender, winger and we'll be fine. Days like today are depressing, but with just a bit more quality in certain areas we'll win from positions like this.

Hopefully, there'll be a couple of quality signings that will improve the team by then.

Maybe Gaston was one of the players that got a knock on Boxing Day. That line-up surely has to be a 3-5-2. Shaw and Cork wing backs, Morgan anchoring and Jay and Rickie up front. If the lineup has been dictated by injuries and knocks, then, on reflection, that wouldn't be a bad idea. If we go 4-4-2 with those players then it could well be a disaster. F*cked if I know.

Unless he's injured, I can't understand Gaston being dropped. Without him, we'll be far too predictable to trouble Stoke. Looks like a bit of a mish mash line-up, and Davis should have been dropped after his clanger v Fulham, and the one he nearly fumbled through his legs v Sunderland.
