Charlie, that's a decent post. I voted yes in the poll, but if Adkins was to be replaced by the sort of manager you're talking about, I would have voted the other way. The system running through the club is the right way to go. Cortese wouldn't jeopardise that.

Personally, I prefer Adkins telling a few home truths about the defence/team, rather than hiding behind the usual platitudes.

We shouldn't pay benefits to the feckless workshy. The present system of rewarding the feckless with more money depending on how many kids they knock out is also wrong. Please don't think that I am saying all benefits claimants fall into this category, they clearly don't. We also shouldn't pay a fortune in housing benefits to unscrupulous landlords who are just milking the system with high rents.

I don't agree that much with the original post either. We seem to make the same mistakes week in week out. The defence don't look well organised, or well-drilled. I am also a little baffled by Nigel's tactics and substitutions. That's just my opinion, I know a lot of people disagree and that's fair enough. It would be pretty boring if we all thought the same.

I'd be mad as well. The number of players we lose to training ground injuries does seem disproportionately high.

Does it make you feel hard to label people who want Adkins gone as 'bed wetters'? It's like you think you're a better fan, and wanting Adkins kept on is some sort of badge of honour. We all want the club to be successful, it's just that some think it should be done differently to others. The insults do nobody any favours. In reply to the original post, Harry left us in the lurch to go back to his 'spiritual home'. As far as I'm concerned, he can stay there.

I don't think it was a mistake to replace Puncheon. He wasn't great second half. But the subbing of Lambert was plain wrong. There were plenty of others players he could have replaced before Ricky.
