I disagree. 4-4-1-1 is not like the other formations you mentioned. The 4 across the midfield is giving us a far more solid look. When we were playing the 4-2-3-1, the poor defence were getting overrun.

Agreed. I too was an advocate of Adkins being replaced. However, since the 4-3-3 was abandoned we look OK. Without getting too far ahead of ourselves, I'll admit I was wrong. Can I be spared a public flogging now?

I wanted Adkins sacked. But I'm loving being proved wrong. Yesterday's performance was top class. Jack Cork has made us a lot more solid and harder to break down, and Ramirez, Puncheon and Lallana are outstanding. Long may it continue. Mind you, the smug f*ckers on here, quoting supporters who have/had a different opinion on Adkins than the majority, are getting right on my tits.

Gazza hasn't shown me that he has the potential to be a top keeper. His handling, positioning and decision-making are poor. He needs to step up a bit.

Lallana was tracking Hoilett, but let him go. Gazza's handling on routine saves was very suspect. I would worry with him or Kelvin in goal, but you can't put Boruc in unless he's fit. Hopefully he's been doing extra training to lose a few pounds.

Compensation would depend on what's written into their contracts. The club could put them on gardening leave and continue to pay them for the remainder of their contracts, until they found other jobs. I understand this is what Spurs did for Redknapp. Apparently he's being paid £50k a week until the end of the season. Can't see him coming here then.

All I know about this situation is what I've read on here. I think it's disgraceful that a small company had to go to court to get Saints to pay a bill, and that Saints didn't even turn up. People could have lost their jobs and businesses, shameful.

Squad rotation is ok for teams playing in Europe with big squads, but not us. Hopefully, we've stumbled on our best XI. They need to play together and gel as a team. You'll never achieve that by changing the team and formation every week.

I thought Mike Osman was ok when he did the half-times. The Alan Ball chant he started (I think we were playing Southend), after he died, was the closest I came to crying at a game. Mind you, he wasn't a patch on the Albion Band, can't we get them back?
