  1. Fox and Jos were utter garbage today. But Lambert was just as bad, and at least the other 2 looked bothered about being crap.
  2. Cocktail. Total crap. There is one scene with Tom Cruise, and every time the camera goes back to him he's got a different haircut. The continuity was better than the storyline and acting though. Best film ever made is Roadhouse.
  3. And to prove my point, John Terry now wants to play for England again at the next world cup after quitting international football. Nothing whatsoever about putting himself in the shop window when his Chelsea contract runs out at the end of next season. What a tosser. I hope the FA, and Roy, tell him to f*ck right off.
  4. I think Suarez got 10 matches because he's got teeth like a horse and could eat an apple through a letterbox. Defoe has got smaller teeth, so a yellow was deemed sufficient. Ivanovic is lucky he didn't lose his arm.
  5. Closest I've come to tears at a football match, when we paid tribute to Bally at the match v Southend.
  6. Hodgson is another MacLaren, and is getting found out at this level. I have gone right off international football. Players, generally, aren't interested either, and pull out of squads at the drop of a hat. Only when the opportunity to market their individual 'brands' at a World Cup do they even start to give a toss. Playing for your country, no longer seems to have the honour that it did with players of yesteryear.
  7. I reckon with a fully fit Lambert, we are due to give out a real hammering. I'm going for a 6-1 win.
  8. Andy Williams, destroyed us at St Mary's in our first season in League 1. Scored a cracking winner for Bristol Rovers in their 3-2 win.
  9. I've heard they're going to spend a couple of million turning the pitch 360 degrees.
  10. Done. I'm doing my bit by generating my own wind. Unfortunately, my wife doesn't appreciate the Dutch Oven.
  11. Liverpool under Shankly and Paisley would routinely put new signings in the reserves for a season before giving them their chance. It let them settle into the clubs playing philosophy, and made them hungry for success. Worked fairly well for them.
  12. Couldn't even see him getting on our bench.
  13. I got infracted just for calling some c*nt a c*nt. You couldn't make it up
  14. I suspect we're on opposite sides of the middle ground in politics, but what you say about the NHS is spot on. In my opinion, it is a failing system, and like you, I don't think it's a straight choice between public and private. Look at the French health system, that should be the model we follow. Successive governments pour money into the NHS, but is this improving the service? From my own experiences, I would say definitely not.
  15. Typical ignorant comment regarding the docks.
  16. The rail service was crap. Following privatisation, it is still crap, but also very expensive.
  17. Government can handle big industry, just not British ones. France have one of the best health services and rail networks in the world. Both are a mix of public and private. Our choices in this country seem to be public or private. There are other ways.
  18. So you don't mind them ripping us all off with their cartels that are pricing energy at exhorbitant levels? They are greed personified. I'm not saying an entirely state-owned energy industry is the right way to go, but an entirely private one certainly isn't working.
  19. Great post. She put all her eggs in one basket regarding the City, and saw unemployment as an unfortunate by-product of the economic policy she never waivered from. What can't be argued is that she was a true blue, and did what she thought was right for the country. Don't get me wrong, politically, my politics are a million miles from hers, but I do miss politicians who had actual beliefs. Nowadays, we have politicians who have no work experience outside of Parliament, and have no real underlying beliefs. They just run with the foxes and hunt with the hounds, and will say and do anything just for their career gain. Cameron, Milliband and Clegg are just the same person with interchangeable heads.
  20. He had one foot on the floor, didn't go over the top of the ball, and only had eyes on the ball. Defintitely not a clear cut foul, although I'm sure that some refs would have given it. Not our fault that Federici hasn't got any bottle.
  21. I was about to post the same thing, until I saw I had been beaten to he punch. He is a very gifted footballer, very aware, a superb passer, good in the air, great finisher. He only lacks pace. England can't score has at the moment, play him behind Jay and we'd score a hatful.
  22. Tommy Forecast is an anagram of 'talentless f*ckwitt who had Rupert over big time'.
  23. Impressive evasion of the swear filter. ****s, simple but genius.
  24. Teaforthree, Rare Bob, and Rainbow whatsitsname. I am a bookies dream!
  25. Cheap shot on Ramirez, the new scapegoat. Cork and Morgan need to start showing a bit more.
