Good point. Training with better players will improve him over time as well. He is probably learning loads off of Rickie. With our new signings, he's not going to get much of a look-in playing on the left. For the time being I reckon he'll be Rickie's sub and a starter in cup games. Personally, I won't be writing him off yet, give him a season.

We need to put things in perspective, Wigan aside, most of the teams in the League would have got nothing against the Manchester clubs. They wouldn't have run them so close either.

I think you could make a case for any of the midfield or forwards. I'll go for Morgan, although for a 17 year old, Ward-Prowse was absolutely superb. I didn't think he would last the pace over 90 minutes, but he proved me wrong.

Good post. If our midfield and front line carry on playing like that we'll pick up plenty of points against the many teams who aren't as potent in attack than City or United. I think the after match thread shouldn't start until a few hours after he games has finished. Too many raw emotions. The numbers of attacking players will serve us well over the season, with injuries and suspensions.

Where did I say he was clueless? He had a bad day, that's all.
