Went recently and dd the touristy stuff Go up the Khalifa - it's ******* big and worth it - book in advance (Thanks Phil) Did the dune bashing - it's OK. The malls are worth a visit if only to see the scale Went diving in the aquarium in the dubai Mall - you can do this if you haven't got your padi If you are a diver there are plenty of operators, however check where they are going to take you. The b'stards picked me up and then declared we were driving to Fujerah two hours away. As for food - the better half and me are "foodies" so we like to try the higher end restaurants. So if you are up for it I can recommend Amal at the the Armani Hotel - Seriously good curry, ball breaking bill - window view over the fountains - spectacular Tagine - Mororocan food BICE - Really good Italian And just to say you did it - Brunch at the Burj - although we had carp service and they know how to charge for drinks (£20 for glass of wine and £10 for a bottle of water ffs)

Wolves - sod that, the fox sh ite on my doorstep was bad enough

Did Singapore a few years back - great time. Best bit is that half an hour after the race, was sat in a bar in clarke quay. None of this stuck in a car park rubbish. City circuits have to be the way forward,

titanic museum, any castle or abbey (netley), try the village of Castlecoombe - quintessential english village Beulieu - walkto buckers hard and lunch in master builder? New forest - they love the animals wondering around, they also love the forest pubs - The one at Bank and other at Emery Down have proved popular with the Seppos I have taken around

I would say both have not had great seasons. Rameriez adjusting to life and football in the UK. However, when on song, he really is a class act - need to get consistency into his game. I think lallana has taken time to adjust to the EPL as well and injury has set him back. The captaincy is just an added distraction.

Coming to a thread near you.... Did Cortese do the right thing in sacking Adkins? after Saturdays display is SRL past it? should MLT be appointed first team coach and NC's batman?

Here's your problem, when you post stuff like this, no one takes any of your other posts seriously even if what your saying is valid. HTH.

Why do some posters take such delight in Saints losing?

I think I will stand outside the ground after every game selling razor blades and, for those walking over the itchen bridge, lengths of rope. I will make a killing. -
From the reaction, this is glasgow's wet dream. Jeez. We were poor, lack urgency and penetration. Samba had Ricky in his pocket, puncheon must have been mentally counting his sign on bonus cos his mind wasn't on the game.

F... Me. That strikes me as a little pricey. At the £300hr charge rate, that's 25 hours. Are the RSPCA that difficult to get hold of and that incompetent that they spent that long chasing the peacock around the Milton End. How big is this End?

Well, interesting reactions in markets - sterling down 0.13% and the footsie is up.Not quite the disaster that it has been made out to be. Considering that Sterlings devauation happened in the last couple of weeks, what's the betting that the currency traders knew about the downgrade in advance of its publication and have shorted the pound.
