Pointless interview, asking such banal questions. Especially as it was broadcast by BBC Wales. Can’t imagine many people in Wales giving a shit whether Tyler thought it was his best game, or if it might kick start our season (yes, of course it will, the fight back starts today, you stupid cow ). Perhaps she should have asked him what he thought of the Ospreys result in Europe, and does he think the WRU were right to keep faith in Gatland.

In the good old days of the Third round being played on ‘3rd Round Saturday’ in early January the pitches would be churned up, possibly a mud bath*. The games gone soft. *(Or even an ice rink - Elm Park c1996)
-
Or five year contract extension and double wages.
-
That was Lighthouse you were quoting , just in case anyone thinks I’m offering a defence of Bazunu.
-
Don’t we want a GK to be competing with the top three or four ?
-
I was expecting £10-15 which I think is consistent with early rounds of League Cup (as I still call it). As you say may be Swansea not accepting a reduction, although seems self defeating if true, and hits their supporters as well as ours.
-
Agree. But would also like to think if he helps Sunderland, Sheff Utd or whoever to promotion then he’s worth a few million to them.
-
I was considering travelling down for the game today having missed the Brentford game due to weather threat and a two hour drive each way. The deciding factor was the ticket price, £22.50 which is taking the piss given the time of match, and most of all how we’ve been playing. Bollocks to that. I’ve wasted enough on a ST.

Hope Lucy Pinder had Lego checked for STDs after his time in Swansea if Myfanwy and her ‘offer’ of an incentive scheme is anything to go by.
-
We don’t know how the deal is structured and whether it only reaches that amount on progressing through the ranks. Have to wonder how much of the 5m actually changes hands or to what degree, if any, it’s a ‘paper exercise’ within the group.
-
Hopefully the club management will also see it that way now Willcox and Lego have pissed off
-
Isn’t there an obligation to buy if they’re promoted?
-
Couldn’t make it up really, could you ?
-
We’ll have to agree to disagree over Bazunu then. He cost us several points last season but no point dragging this debate out (again). As for CB, there is possibly also a question over Bednarek staying.
-
GK, assuming Ramsdale leaves. We obviously don’t know who will remain, Harwood-Bellis leaving for example, might also leave us low on quality at CB. Even in the Championship.
-
Especially as he pegged it nine years ago.
-
If they get promoted perhaps Sheff Utd will use him as a makeweight if they come in for Ramsdale. Would like to keep Ramsdale next season but unlikely, so the next best thing has to be someone more credible than Bazunu.

Preferably on loan somewhere.

This is where Sports Republic excel.

Then people wonder why the FA Cup has lost some of its ‘magic’. This is another reason. Last season at Watford the draw was known shortly after HT. Spoilt the game for me, what was the point of getting a midweek tie away at Liverpool?
-
I reckon £25-30m in the summer and SR should be able to bring him back.
-
Does Brookes cup tied status carry over to this season ? Shame if it does.
-
Has it ? It may well be, but problem is it’s a few years before we see the benefits. I remember Branfoot shouting loudly about the youngsters he was signing for the future, and it was a bit of a smokescreen for the failings at first team level. A lad from Reading - Ferguson - was going to be a top player, but I think he disappeared without trace.
-
Keep reading this. How do you propose this comes about then ? There isn’t a focal point now as there used to be at The Dell when Branfoot walked along the touchline. Add that to the placid fanbase.

I don’t have an issue with Dragan individually given the £ he’s pumped in to the club. But obviously concerned re the others he’s brought with him. If only we had his financing with competent people making the decisions on recruitment and managers.
