Perhaps you two should lobby the club at the next fans forum to introduce or improve Bluetooth connectivity so you can beam this onto the large screens at HT.

No doubt if they were playing us they’d be going for it.

For what, third choice GK ?

Moyes on increasingly thin ice.

Don’t think he mentioned Ross Stewart

He did return from Chelsea, but reasons for it have not been made known as far as I’m aware.

One name tucked away at the end of the article and overlooked: He was very highly rated as I recall from his time with us before, although he did have Niemi to work with. -

He’d have been our best player on the pitch tonight bar none if he’d been allowed on the pitch tonight. -

Rumours abound - he’s had a bust up on the training ground, an injury the club want to keep quiet he’s knobbed Pardew’s wife Take your pick. -
I wouldn’t have risked Downes tonight.

Who do they manufacture for ?

It must have been something in the air this weekend to bring them out. After the Palace stain I found this specimen: A Maidstone supporter. Perhaps he thinks it’s still 1977.

Shame as I think Hummel kits are generally quite smart, exceptions being last season's crap, although that is probably more down to those choosing them. Would prefer Hummel to Puma or some of the main 'brands' mentioned, but then again I'm more concerned about how it looks on the pitch watching Saints than how soon the replicas are in stock so if they've balllsed up on that you can understand the club looking elsewhere.

I think it will remain a record for league games undefeated so that should keep people happy.

Christ ! Not even in the 5th Round yet, and I thought you were planning the open top bus parade

Good job Holgate hadn’t signed for Stoke
-
Thought he was a bit sluggish at times yesterday by his own standards. But he’s been tremendous for us since signing and above all just got to acknowledge his attitude and application in getting on with the job, in some style at times, despite all the shit that’s gone on around him at the club over last couple of seasons. Remarkable thing is for me is that he was probably our third choice for RB at the time , IF reports were accurate, of trying first to sign Maehle (from Genk was it?), then the publicised attempt to sign De Fuik (or similar) in the summer who then chose to go to Berlin. Maehle later impressed for Denmark, but De Fuik seemed to fall out of the picture (eventually being on loan at Blackburn).

Agree. We’ve been crying out for a CF for two or three seasons. Despite the fact we seem to be fairly free scoring December onwards, still don’t think we convert enough of the chances we create. Just hope this doesn’t haunt us at the end of the season. -
What a twat Worse than the infamous mars bar.

Anyone else recognise the piper on the bridge with the bagpipes before the match ? He was also at Huddersfield. Rotherham fan said he attends all home matches there playing for charity collection. He seems to spot a Saints fan from 100yards changing from Flower of Scotland/Scotland the brave to OWTS in an instant.

First half excellent. Second half we were a bit sloppy at times. But three points, onwards and upwards. Good day out - barring a hold up n the M1 out of Rotherham. Locals very friendly bunch.
