  1. I'd be pleased to see the back of most of these c^nts after the season ends. Please, please, someone buy us and invest ...
  2. true to a point, although there was a thought that he and others could have offered support to their colleagues who felt to be the focus of a "witch hunt" from the hard left. Certainly the closer into the centre ground he and the party move the more electable they will seem.
  3. This has of course been managed to allow him to take the high ground over discipline etc after the recent Cummins, and now Jenrick episode. Can't criticise his response on this now, but don't recall him being so outspoken about anti-semitism in the party previously despite several pointing out the hypocrisy of his silence when his wife is jewish.
  4. Think he should only be allowed to comment on Liverpool games, for Radio Merseyside or similar. I doubt anyone outside of there wants to hear him. Disgraceful that he's allowed on air after the spitting incident.

    20/21 Kit

Every year though there are some decent designs on here, which are better than the crap we end up with.

Even the LD logo is nearly passable in that. Although that in itself might be a problem in the shirt design, not making the sponsors logo prominent enough.
  7. If Man Utd sign him I'm sure the work permit won't be an issue. If he comes to us then you expect it will be.
  8. Inevitable if we take any spurs cast offs.
  9. Insistence that everything is either accessed by or controlled with an App. Life should not revolve around a phone ffs.

This is absolute dog sh!t in my opinion. We're red and white ffs....plain backs are dreadful. Can't hide behind the it's a UEFA ruling (which it isn't) or even a EPL, FA, whatever ruling when Newcastle and others continue to have stripes.
  11. I don't expect Arsenal to be poor for a third game on the trot, but if we score first then perhaps we can take advantage of their uncertainty. Would settle for a draw (and then thump Watford away).
  12. Yet the media, BBC in particular, insist on force feeding this wonderful spectacle on us in the belief that you can't be a football fan unless you lap this up. Outside Murkeyside and their band of gloryseeking fans it's an utter borefest.
  13. Reading Lives Matter and all that.

The third strip is the one least likely to be worn (apart from at Palace perhaps) but could be the best seller of the three.
  15. Interesting comparison, but Gabriel was a lot more physical, and capable of also playing both CB, and as a stand in CF when Ron Davies was injured. Can't see JWP making that leap.
  16. Yes - call it "Rupert's Law" - we don't do business with North London Yobbos. ... and be a spectacular failure there. At least they are likely to be spending.
  17. West Ham and Villa would be ideal. Don't like Watford but think both Villa and West Ham could be better next season if they stay up so be good to get them out the way. Would like AFCB to stay up but suspect Howe may walk at the end of the season even if they stay up ( emotional 'taken them as far as he can .... new challenge' type of speech coming up), As most of the bigger jobs he's been linked with are now taken I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at West Ham, and if that's not avaialble, then the skates.
  18. Who, Eddie or Crouch ?
  19. Shame thought he looked potentially useful and a good prospect.

The red sash on white looked classical, this feels a bit tacky though.

Agree it looks like any old team who normally wear red trying to jazz the monotony of the plain shirt up a bit. Something you'd expect to see Middlesbrough or Swindon attempt. Personal choice is the Keegan era kit, a reverse Ajax kit.

    white sash on back ?
  23. Ever been out in Newcastle on a Saturday night or enjoyed the nightlife there ?
  24. Agree with you about the Saudi investment. But why must we be an attractive proposition ? We've potentially reached our peak value and although we have the possibility of challenging for Europa League places if well managed this doesn't bring lucrative benefits. Newcastle on the other hand could be potential contenders for CL and with massive support. If you were looking at growth following investment a Championship or L1 club with scope is more likely to bring ££. As painful as it might be to admit., although I wouldn't begrudge Plymouth a chance to climb up the league.
  25. Only a bargain fee if he's any good. The match DMC posted doesn't really support that, he could be the Ghanian Vestergaard judging by those mishaps, in fact not sure JV or Stephens have made two of that calibre in the same game. I suppose as a positive perhaps he got them out of his system. Agree a bit more mileage in this story, and it could be the agent leak, as once it's out there he may flush out a better offer, with us a back up if nothing else materialises.
