I know the point you're making, but the truth is we'd like to see some transparency, but there is no entitlement to it or need for it to be provided. Providing the owner is not infringing any laws regarding ownership then he is entitled to do as he sees fit, he is not answerable to the supporters, and the only two 'shareholders' are the Gao's & KL.
-
That's four players required. I'd add a GK as well, making it five. Can't see Les suddenly being that active can you? We've taken half the transfer window not to sign anybody leaving the Master Ditherer a fortnight to achieve it. And we haven't sacked the hapless manager in that time either.
-
(3) Why are you so impotent and ineffective during the transfer windows? (4)With the Under 21's relegated & Under 18's being knocked out by a lower status academy, why has everything gone down the sh!t shute under your watch?

Not sure Walcott would have been the answer, especially as MP sets the team up, but he is definitely a step up on anyone we currently have. As for where we spend our funds I'd like to see it spent on quality that will improve the team, not just some average journeyman who Pelligrino happens to know, or the 4th best option from Les' list.

Another glowing success under Les.
-
No absolutely not, although I suspect that NC might have taken us that route had KL not sought to rein him in.
-
Reminded me more of Ian Branfoot and his "Southampton can't afford to live in the same street as Leeds Utd and our supporters have got to realise it". Seems nothing has changed since 1992.
-
wasn't he meant to be injured ? Which could of course mean he's on his way.

... more like another damp squib courtesy of Les Reed

or this Guido Fawkes charecter from Monaco

If he didn't want to work under KL and be accountable then I can't see the Gao's giving him a free reign no matter how effective he might be as a CEO.
-
Without doubt they will be paying him more as well, but you can't escape the fact that Allardyce would put on a more convincing sales pitch than Les trotting out the cliches, or the Pellegrino could muster.
-
meanwhile... Les dithers, and then dithers some more.

The manager is responsible for the results, and team selections if not the recruitment. Reed takes the blame for the appointment of the managers and recruitment so must be culpable. But it does seem we lack direction from the top, and this is perhaps, Reed & Kruger's only defence. I can't believe that Gao is not creating in the background over this, and if he isn't then we really are down the pan.

Possibly a better option.

Wonder if Lambert will take Eric Black there . Dream ticket.
-
Poor reflection that two of those listed are currently on our books. Though to be fair Bednarek still has time on his side.
-
we missed the boat for him a couple of years ago.

Someone on their forum now suggesting 'Arry until the end of the season. http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/275847/breaking-harry-redknapp-appointed-morning

From what I've read I thought part of the medicals were conducted at the University.

Despite his other failings the 'relegation clause' by Lowe was a good idea, wonder if Les Reed has had the foresight to include anything similar. Possibly on 'Planet Les' relegation is only something that happens to others and not a carefully well run club like us so I expect we'll be lumbered with FF as no one will want to match his wages, or he'll leave for very little.

Could be a very bad day for us, and anything other than a serious drubbing 0-4 or 5 will be a surprise on current form. Fully expect Kane to score a hatrick; Son or Alli no doubt get in on the act, and Eriksen always seems to score against us. Alli being the nasty sneaky bastard that he is will probably get away with inflicting an ankle injury on Hojberg or Lamina to further damage our prospects for the rest of the season. But if Lloris makes a single save in the first five minutes Pellegrino will no doubt point to that as being our bad luck and how that was a game changer. At The Dell we used to relish this sort of match whilst in a relegation scrap - remember Blackburn at home when they were going for the title - but then we had MLT and some players who played with pride and determination, rather than Relegation- Redmond, a few bottlers and others already considering where they could play next season. Better atmosphere for this at The Dell as well though with the crowd up for it and close to the pitch.

To some extent I agree. I certainly don't want to be in a position where the Liebherr's become a focal point for fans frustrations and abuse given the recent history (even if there are doubts over KL's eventual choice of "partnership" which has yet to show any positive feature). That said, this is not a confidential document being breached he has put this on social media for the world to see. Doesn't reflect well on the club though that at a time things are going tits up, and people are calling for a change of manager, the fans have to look for Noah Liebherr and Nelly Gao's Instagram accounts for an insight as to the club's thinking.

I noticed one of the defenders sprawling on the ground as the ball reaches the Watford player, immediate thought was whether he could have cut it out. What surprised me after though was seeing Watford's first goal again in the analysis , when again one of the CB's (Stephens I think) was again seen falling over. Not much hope if we have two Bambi's on ice in that position. How people don't think we need improvements at CB is remarkable.
