Hoping she dips into her purse for a few £million to be invested in the team. If she's as good for the club as the Liebherr's have been then in time she'll become known as Nelly the Benevolent.

Not many suggesting Fonte in their starting line up I see.
-
We tend to be masters of the 0-0 when opponents can't muster a shot on target. Often last season it seemed that a shot on target turned it into a 0-1 all too easily.

Don't think many see Les 'standing firm' and not caving in.
-
We seem to have cornered the markets in having gk's that we dare not let near the bench, or playing.
-
Thought it worked out rather well for them in the end though, we were the ones left looking like mugs.

Delighted about the VD news. CB - was hoping Hoedt might be the option, nothing against Wimmer but certainly hope we don't go anywhere near the value spurs had allegedly put on him (£20m). But if he's anywhere near that then Gazzaniga should be £5m to them (or £150,000 to Reading perhaps).

Think the No 1 shirt is still available isn't it after FF opted for 44.

According to Wikipedia he's 5'8 - looks a bit lightweight from the below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRVanyDo0Os To buy, or loan ?

Remarkable thing is that most of them are too thick to see it or understand it.

... and presumably Sigurddson

Unfortunately I fear you'll be correct.

Whilst I don't particularly like them, and this summer has brought a new level of bitterness there are others in the pecking order for me: Man Utd - detest them, glory seeking saps, Skates - goes without saying, but one thingthat we should acknowledge, they do at least support their local club Everton - 1984, John Bailey, C*nts of the highest order, even before the Koeman event Spurs - (begrudgingly accept they play good football, & Poch is a good manager), intense disliking of them' and another club high on the loathing list, - in fact this should be endemic in every Saints fan as i believe we had a bitter relationship with them historically even from Southern League days. A disliking going back to the 1900's. For me it dates from my older family resenting the Chivers move just before I started following football in the 60's, the 1978 episode in the old Div 2, then Hoddle, Richards etc.

VVD could have an £80m tag on him soon then.

Gk - should be looking to sign a permanent one to challenge FF really, rather than a convenient bench warmer. Attacking player, looks like either Baker, or Roberts, but hope its a watertight deal for the permanent signing - if there can be such a thing as I suspect the player could still veto the move. As for Cb's - Hoedt seemed the best option out of the names mentioned, Gibson doesn't strike me as a dominant CB in the air, or one who will bring the ball out of defence. Sakho - just no, shouldn't be considering trading with them. Wimmer isn't as bad as some seem to think, although I wouldn't be happy paying anywhere near £20m for him.

Laughable ! -
Puts the ball back in Saints court, and makes it 'public', if it wasn't already. Timing is remarakble, coming a few hours after Klopp is reported as saying he may not be in the market for CB anyway.

Virgil Van Gina about sums him up.

vigil for Virgil.

So, will it be announced before Demelza's tits are revealed on Poldark or not ?
-
Wouldn't be surprised if they went for Martins Indi if he hasn't signed for Stoke permanently
-
Should be twinned with Skatesmouth then

Watching that raises two questions: at what point is the ref notified of an incident/decision? I thought it was meant to be immediately but that looks like only when the ball next goes out of play. what's all that wavy hands b0ll0cks (0.57 & 1.20) about ? Seems to be quite popular in Europe, remember Bremen fans doing it at St Marys a few years ago.
