Won't be long before we're back on some recycled names, already had FDB so Woy, and Phil Brown can't be far away...
-
Yes a shame. I was hoping for him or TT on what I'd read of them. Still, leave it to Les, there's still time for a bit more dithering yet.
-
Very good. Should have started that in one of the last matches at St Mary's

Note the comment: Brace yourself for a quiet summer.

Would have thought he'd be doing a chest thumping piece about how he "revealed " this first. The 10pm announcements were a Cortese strategy, not sure why we'd want to do it now. Would have thought we'd release it c 10Am. Perhaps the club have been told The Potters Heron have had a cancellation and can fit in an impromptu press conference tomorrow, and TT has got his flight tickets...

Or the other distinction between Tuchel, and Fuchall Now which can we be more likely to expect ?

An entire summer, and most of the following season pressing F5 as I remember..

Are we talking about PelligrinI or PelligrinO

Feel sorry for CP in so far as he's had a poor hand to deal with, poor striking options for most of the season, injuries to VVD, and the CB fiasco for half a season (mostly down to Les). Against that backdrop an 8th place finish and a Cup Final are a respectable achievement, but the style of play and form over the last couple of months of the season were dreadful. No doubt the right decision, PROVIDING we make the most of it with the right appointment. One of CP's flaws was not getting a message across and inspiring confidence. Hope the message has been learnt.

Tuchel is the stand out option. So probably won't be him then.
-
Can't think where he might have learnt about dodgy dealing ...
-
.... but started his off the field football career with the Skates, working with 'arry !!! Even better.
-
Are these two really compatible ?
-
Annoying that we didn't sign him when first talked about in 2012, although Brum were holding out for £6m at the time, eventually flogging him for £4m. Still we signed Gazzaniga instead.

Interesting suggestion, and agree with Heisenberg about looking to recruit from lower leagues. But I'd not heard of him before, but on doing a search saw this on Wikipedia: So, he might be one for the future, but on reading this it raises the question in my mind - is he any greater potential than Jack Stephens, who similarly had a loan spell last season that was terminated for the same reason (coincidentally at Middlesboro...) ? Same question might be asked re the Polish U21 we've been linked with.

Is this the same agent who engineered Koeman's move last summer?
-
Yet, none of the three are keen to acknowledge their part in signing Forren around the the time during the same window. Strange that. Bit like no one was ever responsible for signing Delgado.

Mitchell was a Reed appointment as I recall. Shame we can't entice him back, I don't know why but the same level of confidence doesn't seem to be generated from our dealings since Wilson has been at the club.Huddersfield don't appear to have been too disadvantaged by his departure from them either.

Agree that Ruth Davidson is one of the more credible contenders for the leadership who would appeal to the electorate. Not sure that I'd agree that Corbyn is unelectable after this week though.
-
Restating what we've read already, nothing new. Really ?
-
Put simply it's a message to the player, "sorry we can't sign you in the way we wanted to, so its up to you now to throw a tantrum to get your move..."

Very amusing: Posted by Alpine Scouse.

Time will tell, but he didn't meet with universal approval so maybe we've ducked out of this one: Perhaps the last post is taken out of context, but perhaps appropriate...

Puel Sacked? - As Reported by Crook of Sh*t
Badger replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Agree. I can't think of a previous manager who has been left dangling like this. Although there were rumblings about both Pardew and Adkins being in line for the chop, the final execution of it was fairly swift, although of course we're not to know how long Poch was being courted before he agreed to join. That said, it wasn't played out in public. -
DITTO. If we overlook these two... just hope one or other , preferably TT , is lined up.
