  1. Shame we've missed out on him. No idea how good he is, but would have been no problem finding a song for him .."There ain't nothing like a Diame.."
  2. I know that was only used as an example, but I'd be surprised if we did not bring in another rb at leaset
  3. The only Saints player to have (nearly) the same sounding christian name as 'John' Wayne (Marion Mitchell Morrison (born Marion Robert Morrison; May 26, 1907 – June 11, 1979).
  4. Yes. Possibly, although there are others that run it close ..many of which perhaps stem from not giving Moyes the job in 2001.Question though, had Moyes got the job in 2001 do you seriously think he would have remained there for four or five seasons, let alone ten ?
  5. Four people cramped in his caravan for a three course meal.Wonder where he sent the girlfriend, and seven kids for the evening to keep out of the way ? Actually I think they should have Westwood on that show, getting p!ssed as he prepares the main course, half-baked skate - then throwing up over the table when he serves up.
  6. Holmes
  7. Did he tell you that as well ?
  8. Ditto. Free transfer ? Apart from a signing on fee that probably matches a transfer fee.
  9. Many a fashion conscious fellow in The Northam had clearly been misinformed then. Thanks for your reply.
  10. Before I embark on this shopping spree can one of you 'fashionistas' tell me if quited jackets will remain in vogue for the forthcoming season ?
  11. imagine
  12. Will Dave Watson follow Hughton to Norwich ? Just another possible angle to influence this issue.
  13. Improvements in the catering ?
  14. Is that your suggestion, or a rumour you've heard ? Probably a good choice, less cost and more realistic a target than Butland.
  15. This is what I am fearing - are one of the ITK's able to reassure me that it will not resemble this ? It certainly seems that very lttle white will be visible from the stands next season. Still, red shirts, black shorts, perhaps the head of marketing sould issue a Mitchellesque statement saying if you don't like the new kit go and watch the cherries instead.
  16. Except that it is, according to a number of posters above, the reverse of this ie red with white pinstripes.
  17. Just to clarify, and for the record Dune, you are referring to Badgerx16 here, and certainly NOT me. I do not wish to be labelled a "marxist" let alone be mentioned in the same sentence as Tatchell.
  18. From what is described on here the "white" in the homeshirt as pinstripes is not likely to be too prominent to cause a clash.
  19. ..or perhaps too late ?
  20. Yes, dreadful.
  21. Agree with you about the Saints strip, and I'd like to see it stay traditional rather than the 'red with minor white trims' that seem to be speculated on here. Sunderland by the way did move away from their traditional kit in the early 80's when they opted for white with red pinstripes ! Red shorts as well. A prety unpopular Le Coq creation and changed after two seasons.
  22. or the Keegan era kit.
  23. Think you might be confusing 'fact' with an episode of Till Death Do us Part where Alf sees a photo of West Ham in Buckingham Palace recounting how West Ham won the World Cup.
