  1. Thank god we don't have that Bournemouth commentator on Solent
  2. Watching Gobern he reminded me of Carlton Palmer, who in his first season for us was sensational. Just hope Gobern lives up to that image, breaking up the opposition and making long strides upfield for 90 minutes, not the Palmer of his second (part) season where everything just passed him by in midfield. This seems a tall order for a youngster, lets hope its the making of him.
  3. That looks a little bit experimental to me. By 4.55pm we will know if that was a stroke of genius by Adkins, or a stroke of stupidity.

  5. ...or cause 'jogger's nipple' by the time you have walked downstairs.
  6. Not if we don't keep the momentum going against BHA,Hartlepool and Brentford it won't be.
  7. Here's Exeter's red and white stripes for next season:

  9. A rather remote and parochial match you feature there, as is the report. With cross reference to a thread in The Lounge about The Royal Wedding, I do hope Kath Wellman has received an invitation for her local community services.
  10. Along with an inability to "win games of football" that were deemed games in hand over our competitors. We have had ample opportunity to overcome that abysmal start with games in hand to finish second but have not done so. But for the state of limbo after AP was sacked we might have been close to Brighton, but second place could still have been sealed with the games in hand by now.
  11. Agree but yours is far too sensible and balaced view to gain momentum on here or amongst fans in general.
  12. Id have the points rather than the game in hand.I find this continual clinging to the game in hand as a magic pass flawed and tedious, every time we have played one of these games we have ballsed it up - Walsall (a),Charlto(a) and Rochdale. We can only hope for better v Plymouth, assuming of course that the gap is 3 pts or less at that stage. And Barnard is no longer 'on the bus' for the remaining games either.
  13. Wondered how long you've been lurking.
  14. No its simply that they play for the mancs. Commentators salivating and arselicking of the mancs is not restricted to national boundaries as Vidic,Heinz etc prove. No despite his illustrious career I would find it unpaletable to have someone from a club I've - irrationally perhaps - detested for more than a decade. Just thankful Neville retired due to injury before he dropped down the leagues.

  16. And a years subscription to Arsebandit Weekly for each member of the Brighton squad.
  17. Have often wondered the same. Either way that is a rather complex crest to spray on a roadsign along the A34 near Newbury(or M27 !) That is a pretty dangerous assumption to make.
  18. Ditto. Personally I think Brighton deserve it given their achievement, whilst it may leave a bitter taste to accept this by Adkins or whoever. Our response seems a bit churlish to be honest. Got a feeling we did. They certainly ran out parading their trophy.
  19. Nothing new in this, Blackpool formed a guard of honour and applauded us onto the pitch after we had reached the cupfinal in1976 (our first home game after the SF).

  21. If the away kit has to be yellow and blue again then I hope it follows the format of these below
  22. Yes I know it's fake, but quite funny following the conversations between the two of them http://twitter.com/#!/NigelAdkins http://twitter.com/#!/GusPoyet
