Thanks for sorting this out chaps.

Sorry to clutter the main board with this. Subscription due on 3/8/12 - paid to my knowledge, but view now littered with bloody adverts, limited to three posts a day, and PM facility not available etc. Can you look in to this please ? Same thing happened last year by the way. Do I blame Cortese for this, as it never happened when Lowe was chairman ?

See what you mean. Best not sign him. Don't want divisions in the dressing room - or on the bus - if he tries knobbing Tadanari's Doris.

Shame, as they really seemed to be pipped at the last by the Danes, but credit to the Danes who gave a phenominal finish to win that. Although disappointed by 'only' a silver, it was a bit of a relief though that they were able to continue.I feared the worst when they pulled up after the first start, despite all the camera angles BBC didn't confirm if within 100m or not. Agree about the raw emotion though of the competitors here, the two girls overawed and humbled by their success, than Mark Hunter &Zac Purchase, physically drained by their efforts and struggling with disappointment of their 'failure'.Great credit to them (and John Inverdale) for showing their human side. CVnts like Rooney, Giggs et al should take note.

or...a song for the moaners "who the **** is moaning now ?"

"incredible" - nothing against the word but certainly overused today at the Olympics, heard one medal winner using the word in every sentence. But then Gabby Logan has repeatedly addressed the assembled group in the studio as "guys" , that p1sses I off .

The 'fact' that Chaplow appears to be declining it rather than Saints rejecting a bid indicates that he is down the pecking order in Adkins plans.

Southampton was definitely a top swimming club in the 1960's & into the early 70's.I was thinking about this watching the Olympics the other night. Whenever swimming featured on tv there would always be someone from Southampton involved during that time. Must have produced plenty of swimmers for GB over the years. I don't remember a coaching scandel, but there was often some controversy surrounding one or two of the swimmers, p!ss ups at Blackpool galas, and then Ray Tyrrell I think who was in trouble re allegations of illegal substances before the Munich olympics.

Are we rumoured to be signing either of those as well ?

No rumour thread would be complete without the obligatory Youtube clip. Wendy Richards best performance : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55UCf2RJDgY&feature=related 0.40 for her first appearance.

or her older sister, Wendy.

Is he a Saints fan though ?
-
waxing lyrical over that performance was he ?

On the adverts theme, it reminds me of the woman who bought a particular brand of tampons only to take them back complaining " I bought these a week ago, but I still can't dance, swim or ride a horse".
-
Leon Best ?Would only waste a place on the bench. No ta.
-
I'd agree, but that is far too sensible and in keeping with the Olympic spirit to happen as it does not have the media/box office attraction ££££

I saw that on BBC text earlier this evening, although article now disappeared. It was however P3&4 from another article so possibly it was just a lurking feature from an earlier piece.

4-1 , a score that deserves a headline of "Gotcha" !! Just watching the highlights, third goal by Dan Fox. Interesting listening to sleepy Barry Davies commentating, reminds me that for all his criticism he is better than many who still commentate on football.

Are they run by the AA in Hampshire then / I've got one to attend up in Herefordshire, and its by another group. Rebooking fee only incurred if cancelled at short notice.

...or has not been able to force a move to his preferred option back to Newcastle -
Or just say "bugger his current club" and enter discussions with the youngster's parents

Noting your location, was your late father-in-law Canadian, or American ? I have heard the 'gals' phrase before, and it certainly makes more sense to me to have a reference to 'guys and gals' than a unisex 'guys'. As for 'blokes' or other phrase it depends largely on context.

Walcott AND £8m then we might think about it. (yes, I amm taking the **** by the way)
