  1. that was meant to be a sort of landing strip or guidance for Fernandes ?
  2. ...or it was really Tommy Forecast. Be honest no one who has watched Saints in the last few years would recognise him.
  3. This isn't this Bennett character is it ?
  4. Another new striped kit from Umbro now revealed at Huddersfield:
  5. Agree with your three although as an outside bet, Blackburn could still be in the mix as their remaining fixtures are mancs (h), and a last day match at Wolves. Teams who I expect to do well in Champ next season are Leeds and Leicester.
  6. Agree with Sadoldgit totally. I could not help but compare the grief and torment suffered by this lady, mother of Keith Bennett - who was killed by Brady and Hindley in the 1960's - and the dignified way she has conducted things for over forty years with the forever publicity seeking McCanns. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-13188852 Still no one does public grief and self pity as well as the scouses.
  7. He's probably telling of a great match in his time at Spurs. Overlooking the bit that he was on loan at Gillingham or Cambridge City at the time.
  8. He probably would not expect anyone in Southampton to recognise him, and thought you were an Eastbourne Borough supporter. No doubt too embarrased to speak to you. Another contract masterstroke from Rupert then. (Son just told me it was a 5 year deal!!).
  9. If we dont win this, it's play offs at best i'm afraid
  10. Out of interest was LM in the Directors Box or a private box with Crouch etc ?
  11. Firstly, condolences over the loss of your mother. My son & I were sat high in the Kingsland/Northam corner and noticed a row of black & white ( assumed to be dinner suits).Thought that was a novel way of marking the promotion, obviously did not realise the personal angle to it. Well done. As for Lawrie, I go along with the earlier comments that he will always be held in the highest esteem as a Saints legend in my eyes, and most who remember the 1975- 84 years.Sometimes it appears self promotion over all else but you can't deny his record, and feelings for the club. Its a great shame he and NC can't publicly heal the apparent rift, NC would certainly have no need for a publicity agent again.
  12. It is of course possible that they do take "a real interest in it " from a distance, balancing the long journey to Southampton from Switzerland with other business and family commitments. Sir Jack Hayward was the saviour of Wolves but monitored much of it from the Bahamas.
  13. Was this the lad who 'helped' present the trophy at the Ajax match ? If so I thought that was Liebherr's grandson.
  14. Call me old fashioned, but the fact he hit a woman is perhaps relevant. There's a difference between Barnard getting into a bar room brawl with other blokes, and Forecast punching some woman. ( Of course we don't know the full circumstances of either case, and the bint may have been some offensive fat tattoed slag who was equally looking for a scrap). Surprised that the clown was able to flap his hands , or punch, at something and he actually made contact.

Yes that's it Hope they solve it cause I'm desperate to see the reaction videos!!!
  16. Anyone else get an error page when they sign in?
  17. Raining in Cheltenham, if anyone is interested.
  18. Ditto. Huddersfield on merit, but Bournemouth for local bias (and proving they could cope after 'Loyal Eddie' f^cked off).
