  1. Should we not have a thread entitled "Do we need a poll about another striker ?" to see if one is required by the forum users ?
  2. Yes,at the same time he was manager of Sheff Weds or Barnsley.
  3. Ar$e
  4. Probably out of contract rather than just released, although I seem to recall one club releasing higher earners after relegation, may have been Sc^nthorpe. As NA knows him, I suspect he would already be here if he thought HCDAJFU. Surprised he is still without a club, perhaps he is no longer considered as "hot" a prospect as his agent believes.
  5. BWP is the only real handbag thief amongst them, the others don't even come close.
  6. Yes, but why advertise it on national television ?
  7. Having brought one left sided CB in, are we likely to seek another ? Although perhaps Dan Seaborne's unfortunate situation may of course have changed the plan.
  8. It never ceases to amaze me how that programme seems to involve some thick gobby tw^t, normally from Lancashire, and off of a soap who is prepared to reveal to the nation, how dense their entire 'family' are.
  9. McCartney
  10. Not foods as such but medicines can give it a bit of a stench, penicillin in particular.
  11. Whilst I would not take issue with your selection there, I will be surprised if NA does not start with Hooiveld who is left footed ahead of Martin.
  12. I look forward to seeing Luke Quinn making his Saints debut in 17 or 18 years time then.* *assuming I am still breathing that is.
  13. Congratulations. Pleased to see mother & son did the decent thing in arriving yesterday when Saints had a blank Saturday !!
  14. This was a rumour I hoped might happen, and spent part of Weds listening re Cahill at Bolton which had implications regarding Wheater. However I can't see this happening as he cost Bolton too much to loan out,and we're probably too far south.Plus, Adkins has now brought Hooiveld in.
  15. Sorry, did not read post above by Whelk. L1 may be a better option for him, but as an occassional deputy for RL,I would not mind Beattie back here.Question is whether he would accept that.
  16. I thought you might be up for the Official (next season) Kit Draughtsman. Or perhaps that role is earmarked for Gecko.
  17. Steve Bull was our Official Fat Geezer for a number of years. Javi our Official Spanish Translator/ Official De Pedro Promoter.
  18. Jordan Sibley mentioned it on twitter so I'd imagine there was one.
  19. I've just had a browse of the Exeter City site,9 pages of best wishes for a former player and this lead me to the following links: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/9230000.Former_club_s_best_wishes_for_assaulted_defender/ and a Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Get-well-soon-Dan-Seaborne/267291373296250 Thoughts remain with him and his family.Hope he pulls through and we see him back playing in the not too distant.
  20. Get well soon Dan. Terrible news.
  21. Thought we had just got one with his attitude off the bus. Great miss five minutes before the end as well.No thanks.
  22. Any idea what time those who attended might be back to post some updates ?
  23. Good point as man management does appear a strength of NA,and if Hooiveld needs someone to build his confidence then I think NA a good mentor. His time at Celtic does not concern me greatly as there may have been many factors involved, of more concern is that his club record appears a bit nomadic, but perhaps he will respond here.
  24. Anything with hydrogenated onion, including onion bhaji's, give a stagnant smell all of their own.
  25. £2m for a player Lennon wants rid of,and many of their fans don't think can even kick a ball.I'm not too bothered by Lennon's opinion, blokes a knob, or the Celtic fans who have hardly seen him play by the manager who brought him in Mowbray, who does play good football,or possibly in his best position (hasn't he played LB rather than CB for Celtic when selected?). Of course had we paid £2m many on here would be hailing this as an astute signing and answer to our problems. Have to admit to being disappointed we did not sign Gorkss, but Hooiveld matches some of the criteria, left sided,6'4",so lets give the bloke a chance and a welcome on to the bus. Looking on the bright side, if it does not work out then he's back to Glasgow in January, and at least some people might appreciate Seasborne a bit more.
