Come on Saints- we are capable of scoring three goals in a half- still 45 mins to go.
One goal for Saints and the game is changed- just get it early ffs!

I too wish we had some cretin with a bell,a bugle, tatoos, and chef's trousers and a wig to follow us.
Perhaps we do have such a fan,who would be our best fan in the world,if he did not spend so much time in a treatment room.
Should win, can't wait for league action to start once again- but this is just the game Saints could balls up.
As Posh are playing Charlton, we WILL overtake one of them (or both if they draw).

The GK should probably be Gerry Gurr who was actually an outstanding prospect - and played for us in the old Division 1 - before injury ruined his career.
Ronnie Ekelund also deserves a place.
Finally and as an outside bet, does Steve Moran qualify ? He was never the same again after his back injury.
I can recall a similar discussion about Hughes. On seeing him play someone next to me asked, "who is that short Welshunder21 midfielder with the dark curly hair, he is so dominant ?"
He could have been the best midfielder at the club when fit, no doubt. But he was always in the treatment room .
Another quirk regarding our kit history comes from the Admiral shirt 1976-1980:
This is the shirt worn:
This was also produced and in the first team photo 1976/7 some players are wearing this version:
Does anyone remember seeing that being worn during a match ? I don't.
Do you mean whilst His Rupertship was in charge ?
If so,the answer is yes. It could have been written about Delgado.I remember reading after his wonder goal against Arsenal :
He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt.
But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon.
No coincidence really that Adkins thought it would be appropriate for Connolly to play injury time either.
I was worried he might of course be injured during injury time,as I'm told he is prone to injury.
