Storrie-teller must be in denial if he believes this,or expects anyone else to.Clearly it is the banks fault not wishing to extend overdraft facilities whilst the club leak millions...

smoked kippers tomorrow instead.

Don't they know that it's different for girls ?

This is a spoof. This is library picture of Tony Lynam last June.

I'd be surprised if they allow it.If they do then it is poorly thought out and outrageous. For every player sold, another club - possibly in a different league in another country - obtains an unfair advantage of buying players outside the transfer window. This could lead to appeals etc all over the place.

Do the Scots -sorry,British -team all look like Colin Hendry in drag again this year ?

Where does the Channon rumour come from ?

Rubbish. The European Cup functioned very well for nearly forty years before the ultimate greed of the 'champions' league took root. It was probably more exciting even if less lucrative. Totally agree .

What is that then, some sort of creche facility ? -
Isn't the word "scab" though largely a late1960'/70s invention ? Whereas our mythological strike breaking was in the 1930's.

Well done for borrowing that plan... What about the grey blocks ? There appears a healthy chunk behind our goal which is to be left vacant,or is that for corporate sandwich brigade ? -
This however is where the crux of the matter lies.I thought AP a good appointment as he had a good track record -for a team in our league and position - and was/is still young enough to have potential to grow into the job and make a success of it.This is in stark contrast to Burley whose best days were behind him when he came to Saints and was just seeking a further payday. Who would we want who would come here ?AP was a better option than some of the names mentioned.I was one of those keen on Tisdale, but realistically it is doubtful that he would be able to attract the name players to drop a division as AP has.(Yes,I'll also accept that it is our position to offer a few £ as much as AP that will bring players in,but having a manager who has had a higher profile must help).

It occured to me that I would rather he did not conduct this debate via the media,as it indicates a bit of a collision course between AL and the board if both need to get their "positions" known in the public domain. Hope I am wrong on this.

Would you sign Papa Waigo N'Diaye on a permanent basis?
Badger replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
Having not been able to post this on another thread this evening I might as well dump this here. I think he is an asset, his pace alone frightens defences.Unfortunately his finishing leaves a lot to be desired and in truth, given longer,he may prove to be Chicken George II with lots of promise but no end product. Quote: Agree not clever, but disagree about strength, this is something he lacks, not just to outmuscle defenders but to attack the ball (especially that header which was a fairly limp attempt to direct it;imagine Ron Davies or even Beattie or Lambert in that position,James would not have seen the ball let alone get near to it. -
Remarkable how brave both sets of fans are whilst there are two lines of police, police vans and horses seperating them. For all the 'want to have a go heroes'- in both sets of fans - there were frequent breaks between vehicles and old bill that they could have charged through to cement their reputation in local folklore, yet they chose not to.

The play offs,in my view, are beyond us. By the way,we are only four points above the drop zone.

Have to ask,but why take photographs of him and just pander to the f'kin idiot's ego ? That said, what is he doing embracing a Saints fan after a lifetime of "..hate the scummer caaaahnts.." ? Is he mellowing in his old age or just a big pussycat afterall ?

Good to have a picture of some of their fans on top of the article.Clear evidence that their 'Retards in the community' programme is working.
