As an observation many changes in christian name over the last 40 years on the teamsheets and collected football cards. Teams always comprised a couple of 'Bobby's', Bob, or even a Rob, but not Robbie or Roberto . Ali was an abbreviation of Alistair not a distant cousin of George Weah. Stan,Stanley,Norman,often featured on the opponent's team sheet.When was the last 'Albert' seen ?(cue obvious double entendres). Several Ron's,although only one as far as I was concerned in the 1960's. Not a Dean,Wayne or Kyle to be seen anywhere. Obviously just a reflection of social change but noticeable none the less.

Agree with this.Thomas is too injury prone,and allied with the occasional suspension after seeing red mist can not be relied upon for the full season.Perry at his age is also a good squad member but should not be considered first choice for 46 games.
