Come on chaps, when are we goingto have an official HCDAJFU sticky ?

Strange isn't it how a player can plummet in the eyes of the fans so quicklywithout having a real run in the team to make his mark? About two seasons ago Ollie Lancashire was possibly the next big talent to emerge from our academy conveyor belt. When a Sunday tabloid suggested Everton and Blackburn were looking to nick him many posted on here that we could not allow such a talent to go.This came shortly after the Matt Mills fiasco. OL has played in teams desperately short on confidence and ability.Although I fear it when I hear his name read out on the starting line up based on previous appearances I certainly feel the poor bugger deserves a chance in a better team to be judged fairly. Bialkowski is a good comparison, and I still have reservations, but after the start of 2007/8 I hoped never to see him play for Saints again. He too is back in a more confident defence and consequently is not the calamity I feared. Agree with an above post though that OL should be nurtured back into the first team.Grimsby would harm his confidence further and a loan to a better positioned club might aid his development.

Just about every thread or post on here after the Exeter and Colchester matches. Oh and confirmed by an ITK taxi driver I was talking to...

I thoughtTrotman had already f^cked off back to Preston so isn't now available for any match let alone the FA Cup tie.

I too remember him as a good player and in form would be a great signing.Big question though remains as to why no club has taken him on ? Attitude ? I heard him interviewed at the start of the season and he sounded level headed so I'm amazed he is still available.

Watching the clip again and I noticed how one of the krauts looks like Mark Wotte and another like Gus Poyet. How apt to have clones with SFC and Brighton connections in there secretly gloating !

That is a face every bit as trustworthy as Rupert's.

Also noted on his Wikipedia page, his full name as : Looks like he was hedging his bets, now England or the Bundesliga ?

Saints signing a current European Player of the year, for example.

Glad I didn't post on the original really. My initial thought was not as exciting as might have been (KK for one),but much better than could have been (eg the creep Curbishley). So far, impressed by AP,so pleased with the outcome.

Are you sure this is not Michael Caine ? It might make more sense. "Now, this arab geezer, the savoiur of this club,..he ain't really got two sheckles to rub together...not a lot of people know that..."

Hope they clap them nicely off the pitch, just to retain their "bestest fans in the world" image.

Won't be necessary,Tony Lynam and Pinnacle will launch an immediate rescue package. It will be up and running in May with Alan Knunt or Albert McCann fronting it.

To paraphrase the late Leslie Crowther: "Begbies Traynor, come on down...". Feb 10th.
