  1. Eelpie asked a question over my reason for not being keen on Coppell: I think 19Canteen has partly answered this for me: I feel that Coppell, like Curbishley are "tired managers";yesterday's men who might arrive with a track record ,rather like Burley did ,but are unlikely -imho- to repeat it with us.
  2. buying prawn sandwiches perhaps ?
  3. Forgot Venables and George Graham.
  4. or Graham Rix.
  5. Keane Wise Adams Redknobb Coppell Curbishley Steve McLaren Probably a few others but don't want to spend too long depressing myself over it.
  6. Roy Keane is an A Grade arsehole.I would not want that b^stard anywhere near Saints.
  7. Liked it so much he stayed another night! Nailed on cert then. Just one question though, does managing Saints fit in with living in California ?
  8. A bit Tisdalesque in apprearance. http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.20min.ch/images/content/2/8/6/28698308/2/1.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.20min.ch/ro/sports/football/story/28698308&usg=__tZ7ueIvNhPfJ38Q8aWi_NXwMR38=&h=166&w=249&sz=8&hl=en&start=13&um=1&tbnid=NL6GaUmbdVqPFM:&tbnh=74&tbnw=111&prev=/images%3Fq%3DWilliam%2BNiederhauser%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DN%26um%3D1 Just to annoy Delldays!

If you are looking for a manager to build and commit to the club for any length of time then Tisdale would be a far better option than either KK or GS in my view.

KK. WGS was good for us in the past, but I fear the "going back" might not work for him and us. If its not KK, then Strachan would however still be preferable to some of the dulllards previously listed ie Dowie,Coppell, and Curbishley.
  11. I thought Oldknow's choice for a position of such power is likely to be Oldknow. I certainly can't see it being RL if that is who you are alluding to.
  12. Paul Allen now realises he has missed out.
  13. Yes that was the geezer I saw on SSN.
  14. Strange, but if Hoos returns it a great coup.If Hone returns then its a retrograde step back towards the dark ages.
  15. If so,then she,Isolde Liebherr, is part of the main Liebherr Holdings Group.Interesting that they have viewed the club also. Someone also described the wearer of the white suit to be young, fit etc which matched the description of Christina Liebherr. So more importantly when might we see her and her horse at SFC ?
  16. Just researched this by google from a fans meeting at Leicester : http://www.lcfc.com/page/FansConsultativeCommittee/0,,10274~1404282,00.html AO's contribution was music after goals.
  17. Part of the Hones-Hoo team. Came shortly after they were appointed. Left with Hones and Dulieu after the SISU deal was rejected.
  18. Of all the posts you have made that is probably the hardest you have had to write, and is certainly a magnanimous response in the circumstances.Thank you for your best endeavours Tony . In hindsight though it is regretable that MLT was involved and for the life of me I cannot think what was intended by wheeling out a penniless jew from Barnet as a financial backer. All now in the past however. Best wishes. Badger
  19. That name was mentioned on here last night. Whilst happy to bow to the new owners's wishes I hope it is not Oldknow as the majority of references to him on the boards suggested he was a pretty objectionable bloke and hated by many at St Mary's.
  20. Thank you rescuing the Saints. Willkommen Markus. Good opening comments from you to which can now justifiably add: "Ich bin ein Saint." The good times are coming again.
  21. And in Cheltenham also. German lager also now in the fridge.

  23. Not a Premiership quality keeper in my view.He will however be on Premiership wages. I am sorry he is going though, would thank him for turning the tide and giving performances that changed people's perception of him ,and good luck at West Ham.
  24. Unlike a panto, where they yell "he's behind you". Perhaps they dare not say that however in case it triggers too many recollections and nightmares from children about Jacko.
  25. At least it guarentees a sell out every week.
