Is the book "In That Number" still available ?

Is it a new perv simulation game from Nintendo,or is that Nintendo Wiido ?

I think we might have had the best run of form from him throughout his career to date.He seems either blighted by injury or complete crap since leaving, remember his time at PNE last season.

You might be right about this but I doubt the Peru team strip is anyway connected to our original kit. It probably has more to do with their own national colours (obviously),and possibly a flag used by Spanish territories which included Peru as mentioned below: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Flag_of_New_Spain.svg

On the subject of our "knickers" getting lighter and lighter, lets not forget that had Hoddle remained then for our first season at St Mary's he was insisting on white shorts ! Thank Christ he moved on before implementing such a violation. As for the away kit I have believed for ages that we should have a return to our traditional amber (not old gold as per the Wolves kit) and black kit. Agree the badge is an improvement over the current hotch potch, but think we have had some decent traditional striped kits in recent years.

Pretty sure that would be it,just south of Newbury by a hump back bridge. The roadsign nearby would invariably be updated in either red or blue depending on who was last passing it, Saints or pompey.

Saints vs Rotherham or Luton - 3rd Round Draw Thread
Badger replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
Hope it Rotherhamin many ways. I have many bitter memories of Luton from the 1980's,in particular that cup tie away c1986. -
Sears is at Palace on loan, possibly for the season so that looks like typical 606 nonsense.

How much was the QE2 when sold originally ?

Preston and Sheff Utd linked : http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5721922,00.html PNE taking him might of course free up Trotman.

If it is going to be a red sash then it should be a solid stripe as per the original,as the Peru shirt ; Be even more authentic if some of the players have a sash running in the opposite direction ie top at other -left- shoulder. I have often wondered how the chaps with the wrong sashes were received by their team mates and club officials at the time.No doubt some wives or mothers were blamed.
-
I like the idea of an original shirt with the red sash as a leisure shirt. If we are going retro for a season then r/w quarters or halves would be an option. The Keegan era should also get a revival at some stage. I like the proposed badge, taking old and current concepts into account.Perhaps the old style ball would be more appropriate.

Managed by AP at West Ham,so Pardew would certainly be aware of him.
-
Forest Green Rovers away would be a good local match for me.

This idea might have had a sound foundation ten years ago.In truth we are not looking for,nor do we need a new stadium.

2018 World Cup bid - Time for Saints to step in
Badger replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
I can't believe they will be allowed to enter at this late stage. All other cities appear to have put their presentations in place,we just have a vague promise of intent to talk about. -
I half saw their ad tonight, and thought I'd reserve judgement until seeing it fully as it seemed most unlikely that they would be trading on the war aspect. Regretably it seems my worst thoughts on it are correct and I agree with you its pretty tasteless and poor to try and capitalise on this.

Also rumoured to have "personal problems" at the Skates before he left them.Strange how they follow him round isn't it ?
-
I have wondered if the fact his 'dip' in form coincides with the public announcement from Irvine that he is going back to PNE in January is purely coincidental. Just a thought but the timing of the two seem remarkable.
-
String the bastard up.
-
Great shame this was not announced a few weeks in advance.I would have made this fixture a must.

Is this the unofficial HCDAJFU in January thread ?

Bill Clinton told Monica Lewinsky he won't be buying her a christmas present. He did say he might splash out on a new dress in the new year though. (Yes its that time of the year to dust off an old joke)

That was widely mooted, especially on here, after a heavy defeat at Sheff Weds from recollection.

Club captain is nothing new though,I recall the likes of Nick Holmes and Francis Benali holding the role in the past, neither of whom I would rate as an on field motivator. I agree with you that an outfield captain is the better option.Of those available Hammond is the only logical option. My understanding is that it is more of an ambassador type role suited to a player with some recognition or standing bothin the dressing room and locally.Lawrie once explained part of the role to include arranging and coordinating off-field charitable activities such as visits to childrens hospital wards etc between players.
