I think Whitey is on to something, he’s ahead of the game here. As it doesn’t matter who tries to save the shots, we could put Prowse in nets. But (here’s the genius bit), if we get a corner or free kick around the box, he could swap position & a full back could go in nets. We’d end up with 11 outfield players, and wouldn’t suffer for it.

I turned off at “would you fight a duck sized horse, or a horse sized duck”. What a bunch of fucking twats, imagine asked Bestie or chopper Harris that. -
Doesn’t that just defeat the object. Although I guess it means you can pretend you’re not interested in what someone’s writing, but actually hang on their every word.

What the fuck is this fucking pony build up on sky. It’s for fucking 12 year olds. -
You claimed you had me on ignore, yet within 5 mins of an avatar change you’re posting about it. You’re losing track of the shite you make up.

We need to get rid of this “we march on” pony….
-
Be realistic FFS.

Well said. I don’t know why it’s on the main board either. If I started a thread about pub football it wouldn’t be.

A Sovereign Government deciding policy. Whats funny about that, It’s how most countries operate?
-
I know, who is going to mince around passing sideways and backwards now?
-
Just about sums it up. Fuck me, imagine if these woke twats were around in ‘76. They’d have probably called the cup final off……
-
This just about sums it fucking up. Hysterical reporting by activist media lapped up by “good” people…. 2 weather forecasts, one from the early 90’s & one from the Woke era. It’s not informing the public of the weather, it’s campaigning…

They’re really stuffed when everyone is compliant aren’t they Soggy? “Details of the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan's 'Pay as You Drive' plan which could replace the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) and Congestion Charge have been shared in a new interview. The proposal would see drivers in London pay depending on the time of day, amount of passengers and the distance they drive in London. Speaking to the Financial Times, Khan revealed details on how the idea might work sharing that it could be a long time until the plan was implemented. The 'Pay as You Drive' scheme would replace the Congestion Charge which costs £15 a day and the ULEZ charge of £12.50 a day.”

😂 Are you really that bone headed, or is it an act?

Exactly, it’s revenue raising dressed up as saving the environment, and saps like soggy lap it up. Nobody tries to pretend toll roads or bridges are anything else.
-
It’s nothing to do with public health, cleaner air or any other such pony. It’s all to do with raising revenue now as well as getting the infrastructure in place for future raids on the motorists wallet.
-
Thank you for making my point. People were banned from smoking in pubs, not allowed to do so once they paid £12.50 a visit.
-
And then the cameras will be used for pay per mile charges. Anyone who thinks this is about saving lives is delusional, naive in the extreme or just wants to show us what a “good” person they are.

Rent controls help existing tenants but long term it leads to short supply & a lack of investment in rented properties . It also encourages “black market” agreements, depriving the Government of tax, and the tennant of some basic rights. There’s also plenty of loop holes where dodgy employers rent cheap rent controlled properties to their employees & over charge them to live there.

We need the big guns to train their sights on this net zero pony. Hopefully big dog Farage, fresh from draining the Nat West swamp, gets the band back together and forces the establishment to abandon this lunacy.

Correct. Landlords pay an important part of the housing mix, but are always portrayed as the bad guys. We’re landlords & our tenants couldn’t afford to buy & then maintain the property they live in. It’s too simplistic to equate paying £1,600 rent to a mortgage payment of £1,600, but that’s what everyone does. Of course paying rent is basically paying our mortgage (plus some) but our tenants don’t want to own their own house. Last year we spent thousands on a new roof, other maintenance costs & it was a particularly expensive year. If they owned the house, they wouldn’t have the money. But more importantly they wouldn’t want the hassle. They’re happy to rent, like the flexibility & the fact there’s no unexpected costs. I know there’s shitty landlords about, but we’re decent ones (most are). Believe me, you make more money from happy tenants than pissing them off. If we and thousands like us sold, it wouldn’t reduce the price of houses, it would just make decent ones to rent harder to find and more expensive
