I’d agree with that. The other thing they do is ruin the end by gerrymandering the story line for another series. Why can’t they just leave it at a natural end. I can just about understand awareness campaigns around race/sex/religion. Some people might not be aware of the latest pony and inadvertently say racist or sexist stuff, but knife crime? WTF, nobody is unaware or needs educational courses around the danger of knives, that’s why they carry them in the first place. Because they’re fucking dangerous.

How is this “raising awareness”? you’d hope the people who can do something, plod & the politicians, are already aware of it. I’d imagine the blokes carrying knives are aware of it, and you’d have thought the potential victims were also aware that there’s lots of knife crime in their communities. What on earth will wearing a white kit do to stop it, how many knife carrying halfwits are going to down tools because they saw Arsenal in a white kit whilst watching TV?
