  1. what managers do at other clubs doesn’t matter. Lawrie was fucking woeful at Sunderland and awful as NI boss, but that doesn’t diminish what he achieved for us. Nobody would say WGS was a better Southampton manager than Lawrie because he did well at Celtic and Lawrie was shite at Sunderland.
  2. It’s not sudden or belated, and it’s not a love in. A lot of us felt he did a decent job and deserved another season. We’re now merely pointing out that Ralph has been given a lot more slack and backing from the board, and the fan base than Puel got. That maybe a good thing, but it’s not the point. 8th and a cup final is clearly a better record than Ralph’s. I wouldn’t want Puel managing us now, but I wouldn’t want Ronald Koeman managing us either, or Lawrie for that matter. He’s one of 3 managers to take us to a cup final in the last 100 years and only 3 or 4 have finished higher in the top flight. That’s a pretty decent season, better than anything Ralph’s produced, so far.
  3. I do, you clearly don’t. This is the incentive for people to make the sea journey. The fact you’ve written it as a defence of your ridiculous plan, sums up your level of understanding.
  4. It’s very simple. Despite getting 2 more points, finishing 11th isn’t as good as finishing 8th. If Ralph gets 47 points and by some miracle gets relegated, will you still claim that it was a better performance than Puels 8th . Weird.
  5. It’s near on impossible to solve. Every single side uses simplistic answers to appeal to their target voters. The Government pretend they can sort it with tough action, whilst the opposite sides (left & right) just chuck stones without any workable suggestions.
  6. Did the monkeys write this post?
  7. If your judging different seasons, of course it is. You end up with the ridiculous situation where runners ups have “better” seasons than teams that actually win the league, and relegated teams have “better” seasons than those that stay up.Points only became a thing on here because Claude Puel made us the 8th best team in his only season, and some people didn’t rate him. They try to talk down that achievement, and points is the way they use.
  8. The vast majority crossing are undocumented, as Tim explained most of the genuine refugees don’t need to attempt it. . Interesting to see another leftie backing Nigel Farage’s solution though .
  9. By your ridiculous measure Arsenals invincibles had a worse season than some runners up had.
  10. No, I’d have sacked him as soon as last season ended.
  11. Maybe you could set up an OnlyFans page and people could pay to abuse you. It’s an interesting concept, you can only be abusive to people who earn a certain amount of money. Perhaps Nathan Redmond could take a voluntary pay cut, that way he won’t get abused anymore.
  12. Spot on. Give Soggy a lesson will you? The people risking their lives in dangerous sea crossings come predominantly from the second group, or the very poorest in the first group. Soggy & Farage’s clearing stations abroad will be full of people who’ll get asylum in this country under the present system. It won’t cater for the people in the boats. It won’t change the risk/reward calculation these poor unfortunates make. The only thing that will stop sea crossings is stopping them at source and why on earth would The French make more than a token effort to do that? To think that they’ll make more effort if a pro French europhile remainer was PM is for the birds. French politicians have electorate to face and I doubt “we kept migrants wishing to leave here” will be a particularly great line to secure your re-election.
  13. I wouldn’t send them to a “clearing station” abroad, like you and Nigel Farage want to.
  14. You’re all over the place. You were talking about stopping the sea crossings. Are you now only talking about stopping sea crossings for “genuine asylum seekers”. Undocumented people can still take their chances? You still seem incapable of answering the basic question asked of you. How does foreign clearing stations stop people making dangerous sea crossings to the UK?
  15. You are fucking clueless. People attempting to cross into the uk, don’t have “verifiable details” of where they came from. If they did they run the risk of being returned to their home country. Answer me this genius, how do you send people home, if you don’t know where they come from? You can’t, they stay in the UK. So under the “soggy system” foreign clearing stations won’t stop anyone attempting to cross the sea. Once they’re here, there’s nowhere to return them to. The only way foreign clearing stations will work is if everyone applying in the uk is shipped out to them as well. Until the people crossing the sea, don’t get to stay in the uk, you won’t stop people doing it. Good luck with getting a country to agree to take them, and good luck trying to get that through Parliament. It’s Nigel Farages solution, oh and Soggys. You claimed it was easy to sort out and the Gov should have done so. It isn’t, you just wanted the slag Priti and Johnston off before engaging your brain.
  16. You’re all over the place. You claimed having “clearing stations” abroad would sole the crisis of people making dangerous sea crossings. This is complete and utter simplistic pony, normally peddled from the right, but in this case peddled by a soft arsed leftie. Read your answers. You said, if they’re picked in English waters, they come to England to be processed, so why would your foreign “clearing station” stop people crossing? You said, the incentive is exactly the same, whether they’re at your foreign “clearing station” or in English waters. This is pony, if they’re turned down, where do they go? If a bloke has no passport and says he’s Syrian, where do we send him. What if he says he’s American, do you really think we can just send him back and the yanks will take him with no proof of citizenship. If you can’t establish where someone is from, you can’t send them anywhere. So they stay in the country they’re processed in. Which will be,foreign cleaning station land or the uk. Do you still think the incentive is still the same for both? You have t thought this through have you?
  17. He’s also “impressed” with the job Rafa’s doing at Everton.
  18. Ah didums. If they want to be treated as a proper sport, they’ll have to get used to it. Blokes put up with it.
  19. It’s the same line trotted out by his fan boys over and over again. That somehow we can’t attract a better manager than Ralph. How many premier league supporters would swap their present manager for Ralph? Not many I reckon.
  20. So if they finish above us, that’ll be down to poor management of our side then?
  21. It’s hardly knee jerk, people have wanted him out for over 6 months. For the avoidance of any doubt or being accused of knee jerk reaction, this is my view. I wanted him gone at the end of last season, not during it. I thought he should have been replaced pre season, but when he wasn’t I think he should remain until the end of this season. IF he continues in the same vein the rest of this season, I’ll want him replaced. If that’s knee jerk, then my cocks a carrot
  22. Fucking hell, this explains why we’re a fucking shambles.
  23. You’ve absolutely no idea why he took the blame, none whatsoever. I’d imagine 95% of supporters think he took it, because that’s where the blame lays. But no, not you. You’re still spouting this bizarre pony that it was the right decision. It was the wrong formation, we know it, Ralph’s admitted it, yet in the rush to “see” things others can’t and attempting to portray yourself as a supreme analyst, you’re making a plank of yourself. Give it up.
