PM’s aren’t elected. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ll want the result enacted. This is what you remoaners don’t seem to understand. Nobody is asking you to shut up, nobody is asking you not to campaign to change the minds of the country. Nobody is asking you not to want to rejoin. All we’re asking for is for the result to be implemented. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Brilliant news , time for a celebratory song.... http:// Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

There’s also the make up of the party, which will be in his favour. If he comes back with a tiny majority, it’ll be a solid one. With no ken Clarke, Rudd, Grieve, Boles,Soubry, Greening etc. Even a 4 seat majority is probably safer than May’s inherited one, or Cameron’s because he had the ERG playing havoc. Pretty much every Tory elected will follow the party line on Brexit. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I see Rudd is the latest charlatan to bottle facing the electorate. Hopefully Hammond next. The retreat of the wets, great to see. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

She won’t be standing because she’ll get hammered. Stop trying to make out these charlatans are somehow principled. She’s been in more parties than Gazza the past 6 months. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Great thing about an election is the fake Tories booted out of the party are facing oblivion. That is the ones that have the balls to stand, Hedi Allen the latest to bottle it. No more Bercow, Soubry, Rudd, Hammond, Allen, Rory the ego, Grieve, Boles, Letwin. **** me it’s like when Marcus came along and cleared out Wotte & the useless players. Going to be a great Xmas.... Unbelievable, some Labour chump interviewed on sky stating we can’t have a winter election in case the weather is poor. Then ended the interview saying “the sooner he goes the better”. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Leavers know why an extension was asked for. won’t make a blind bit of difference what people who had no intention of voting for Boris anyway think. If labour thought it did, Corbyn would agree to an election now an extension has been granted. Labour are going to have to try a new play book when one does come. Their normal lines of “24 hours to save the NHS” and “Tory austerity “ hurting people daily, look a bit silly when you’ve been propping up an Etonian led Tory government for weeks. The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.
Lord Duckhunter replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
She did, but there’s plenty of factors that I doubt will be in play this time. Disastrous manifesto, horrific strategy, leader that was woeful on campaign trial. Too long a campaign. People voting for Corbyn safe in the knowledge he couldn’t win and their vote would therefore limit May’s majority. Lib Dem’s collapse. A short sharp campaign run on a “get Brexit done” basis. A leader with a personality, a sensible non aggression unofficial pact with our Nigel, Lib Dem’s fighting on a revoke platform in Remain areas. Labours muddled, bizarre Brexit position and contradictions. But most importantly the fact Corbyn could win a vote for Corbyn could lead to him becoming PM, all point to a totally different outcome this time. Personally, I can’t see the British people putting Corbyn in number 10. A Blairette candidate would be a totally different proposition. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

Strange as it sounds but it’s easy to put the effort in against City. If you don’t, it’ll be double figures. The time to judge players attitudes isn’t the games they have to put it in, it’s the games they feel they don’t need to, or tough winnable games. I’d rather we had Everton, Burnley or West Ham, that’ll show the underlying attitude far more than City away. I ****ing hope they’re in this weekend, I ****ing hope one or two of the senior pros have dug them out. Somehow I doubt it, they’ll be at home practicing their “sorry “ routine. Not one yellow card. Getting the **** taken out of them, humiliated, embarrassed on national tv and not one yellow card. Not one of the Nancy boys put their foot in. No leadership, no balls, Roy Keane called Arsenal “a team of son-in-laws”. Men you’d love to have your daughter marry, but wouldn’t want them in a battle with you. Sums our lot up perfectly, particularly our academy role model Ward-Prowse. Apart from Redmond & Ings they all went through the emotions of looking upset, but their performance said otherwise. No good coming out and apologising afterwards, that’s the easy part. The hard part is putting your body on the line, having a thou shall not pass mentality in the second half, ensuring 5 or 6 is as bad as it gets. As poor as the first half was, the lack of any sort of reaction after the break speaks volumes about them as men. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Our players embarrassed themselves tonight and 50% of our supporters embarrassed themselves as well. People streaming out after 20 mins, what’s all that about. “Southampton till I die, (provided we’re not getting battered)”. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

My Grandmother never went out of Dorset or Hampshire her entire life . Never flew, drove or owned a washing machine. Went through 2 world wars and spent her entire life ensuring my father didn’t suffer the hardships she did. To complain that our children’s future has been taken from them and is somehow bleak, is an insult to the millions like her that made this the luckiest generation to ever live. Jo Swinson (and the Death of the Liberal Party)
Lord Duckhunter replied to Tamesaint's topic in The Lounge
They’ve jumped ship because of Brexit. This is not a right wing Government in any way shape or form. There’s little point in commenting on politics if you believe it is. Cameron’s pinko Government was further right in economic terms, Osborne more fiscally conservative than the promises Javid is making. David Milliband, Chucka, Ed Balls’ snap dragon and Cleggy could easily sit in this Government, Brexit aside You’re confusing the membership with the Government. The membership has moved rightwards, but the Government is part of the pink blob. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

No way is this Government “very far right”. Apart from Priti at the Home office their outlook and policies are very pink tinged. The only way this Government can be seen as right wing is if you believe the false analysis that Brexit is a right wing project. There’s a cigarette paper between Boris and the Blairettes on everything bar Brexit. Take Brexit away. This Government is part of the big pink blob. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Complete pony. Revolution? Lol. They’re just pinko tories and Blairettes that faced de-selection, so jumped before they were pushed. Tom Watson stopped the whole thing in its tracks by setting up his centre left group within the party. They’re charlatans, not revolutionaries. Austin Mitchell has penned the best takedown of the lib dumbs I’ve read. http:// https://brexitcentral.com/how-did-the-party-of-asquith-degenerate-into-a-sanctimonious-anti-democratic-rabble/ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

The problem with this generation of protesters and idealists is they’re up their own areses. At least the hippies and peaceniks produced fantastic music and culture. These clowns are just middle class soap dodgers without any original thought or creativity. Boring Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
