  1. I think he’ll get lucky & some mug will believe he’s poor form is a symptom of us being awful this season. The reality is he’s one of the major contributors to it, but football is warped, he’ll get a club. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Ericsson doing a great JWP impression with that last min corner, when it matters he dollied it up for a simple catch. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Instead of comparing Vic with Cork people should compare the work Knockaert’s done tonight with Tadic & Boufal’s pathetic efforts most games Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. And he was right. First season down they were 3rd, next season they won the thing. They then beat Liverpool to win The charity shield at the start of the following season. So I don’t quite get the point you’re making. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Huddersfield lost 4 league in a row at the end of jan beginning of Feb and then won 2 out of the next 3. If we win 2 out of the next 3 chances are we’ll go into the Swansea game above them (bearing in mind their fixtures). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. We played Arsenal away, and Chelsea at home. The next placed team had WBA away & Everton home. Only dropping 2 points further behind them is a **** up on their part. Let’s see how many they get from city away & Chelsea home. You do realise that all the teams over the years that escape relegation end up with a better win ratio right at the death than they had done previously. If they didn’t, anyone in bottom 3 in April would go down. History suggests this isn’t the case. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Well the players that "hated" Puel certainly let themselves down when we faced Leicester earlier in the season. But of course, that wasn't their fault it was the shiete manager. Let's see what they do Thurs under a different one. Let's see when I really matters, surely the threat of relegation plus the hatred of Puel should mean they come flying out of the traps, absolutely determined to prove a point. 8. What a crock of pony. There's been nothing out of the club about Bertrand. People are making their own minds up. It's not some anti Bertrand PR campaign run by that Machiavellian villain Leslie Reed. It's purely down to his demeanour and average performances Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Not with our useless squad you can't Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. **** me, we've got a load of wet fannies supporting us. Plenty of sides have come back from worse positions than this over the years. Since Hughes took over we've had a good win at Wigan, the Wigan that beat Man C. We've been woeful at West Ham and have had 2 fighting performances against top 6 sides. If people accept that Swansea won't get anything at City, then it's in our hands. It doesn't matter how poor we've been, it's a 5 game season now. For all the negative posts about the past 2 games, Swansea had WBA away & Everton at home and gained 2 points. They've now got City & Chelsea, time to make them pay. 11. Careful what you wish for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. It's exciting end to end stuff, far better than the 0-0 draws this time last year at home. People pay good money, they wanted entertainment man. 8th was boring, Claude was boring. We're banging them in for fun now. Yeah, go Saints Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It could well be. Swansea don’t play 5:30pm the day we play Boscombe. They’ve got City away at the weekend, so if we beat Leicester they’ll go into that 2 points ahead of us. Beat Leicester & I can see a pathway out of this. Back to back wins against them & Boscombe is surely not beyond us. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. God, do you really believe this pony. I won’t make the obvious remark that chicks don’t know much about football, but comments like this don’t really help the feminist cause. You’re seriously trying to say that, knowing Giroud had signed for Chelsea we then contacted his ex club to enquire about buying him . It doesn’t make sense. Do you really believe we had any chance of singing him? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. A couple of decisions nobody has mentioned yet 1. Lino making a poor offside decision at Wembley. Win that game and we’d never had contemplated sacking Claude. 2. Believing Gabbi would score goals this season, understandable given his start pre injury but still a major screw up. Had somebody realised then maybe we’d have found a proper striker in the summer. The knock on effect was we were looking for one in Jan. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. We’re becoming a noddy club Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. So what if the players hated him.I ****ing hate them. Perhaps he knew what a bottle less bunch of fairies they were and kept hammering them. Still you got your exciting football the last 2 games. 10 goals, end to end stuff. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. I'll always be grateful to Kat for the sensible way she managed the club and the great memories of her spell in charge. As for Ralph I don't really see what he does, so can't really judge. As for Les legacy. I'll look back on a few good years ruined by poor decisions the past year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. This is why back to back wins could really put the cat amongst the pigeons. As I said earlier, do so and we could well be above Swansea going into May. They've got Boscombe away the day we go to Everton. Easy game? Well not if we've taken 6 points from 2 games. We could be 4 points behind Boscombe as their game prior to us is Utd. Boscombe needing a point or win to absolutely guarantee survival is a tough game at their place. We just have to put pressure on sides by winning our next 2. I'm not saying we can catch Boscombe, because I doubt we can. But we can make Swanseas game there a lot lot tougher for them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Played well today. He's not captain material, never has been Been poor by his standards most of the season. Is head and shoulders above Targett & McQueen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Well that's it now, we're in do or die territory. It's down to the players mentality now. Can they get over today's crushing defeat and pick themselves up. If they can and they show the fight and commitment from the last 2 games there's absolutely no reason we couldn't win back to back league games. Swansea have Man C and then Chelsea so we could conceivably be above them if we do. I just hope the players believe it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. First hour was the best performance of the season. Players gave their all, outplayed Chelsea and the formation looked good. I said to the guy next to me “next goals the winner”. Once you give one away at 2-0 you’re always up against it, even more so when you play a top side. They only played for 10/15 minutes, but they’re good enough to beat poor sides in that spell. We played a lot better than West Ham did, but Chelsea missed chance after chance that day. Play like that Thurs and we’ll beat Leicester. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. You’re a ****ing idiot. It’s not that “he isn’t isn’t up for it” it’s that he doesn’t give a shiny Shiite. Personally, I’d cancel the player of the year trophy. Not one of the the ****ing useless tossers deserve it. None of them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. The establishment dumped on Powell an incredibly clever man, who is now portrayed as a racist moron. He made a speech warning of the dangers of coloured immigration, but the Wilson government actually legislated against coloured East Africans coming in and revoked their rights to settle in the UK during the same era. They let white farmers in but not the coloured ones, despite them holding British passports. The Home Secretary at the time Skate Callaghan allegedly stated that “Powell's antics were a valuable distraction” from the decision he made to abandon these coloured people to their fate. The whole era was a racial powder keg and no sane person would want to go back to that bleak period. But racism was rife throughout society, Powell was a great scapegoat at the time and his speech also enabled the great and the good to close down debate on the subject for a generation. 25. You’re right, those home grown players were so loyal. I long for a return of the days when there was real loyalty from our home grown contingent like Lallana , Shaw & Chambers. Luckily Im also old enough to remember the loyalty shown by Alan Shearer, Jeff Kenna, The Wallace’s , Steve Williams. **** the foreign mercenaries, let’s get some home grown loyalists in.
