Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
Lord Duckhunter replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
According to reports the Muslim who did this was jailed for 2 years for trying to get to Syria & join Isis. IF this turns out to be true, can everyone agree that had we thrown away the key & jailed him for life these 4 people would still be alive. Maybe there's a lesson to be learnt. Typical leftie , excusing the murder of women , children & young British soldiers, because they agree with the cause. As for your pony about West Southampton, do you realise the troops first went in to protect the catholic community? My nipper is 17, doesn't have the vote , should he blow a few kids up? If mcguiness was such a great peace maker & changed man why didn't he let the families of the disappeared bury their loved ones. He damn sure know where they're buried Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No, never has been, never will be , and it's impossible to be. Which is what makes the BBC charter such a joke. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is why it is so gutting that we haven't played them the past 3 years. The comparison between the strength of the sides was massive. We could have really given them a ****ing good banjoing. If they get this investment they'll still be worse than us, but not as dire as they were. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

****ing hell, people quoting the FT as if they're some sort of neutral organisation. They are up there with the Clegg's, Majors and millers of remainiacs. They were the biggest cheer leader for us joining the Euro and even called William Hague immature for opposing it, when leader of the opposition. **** me if I wanted to read Ganesh's pony I'd buy the FT, how does posting his opinion change anything? Unless he signs up and pays his £5, what's the ****ing point. I want to read other posters opinions not leftie hacks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Their coverage is ****ing sickening, particularly 5live. I thought maybe it was all outlets but the 5pm sky news led with the lap top ban. I guess it's just our national broadcaster's priorities. As for the actual death. Although believing their should be a united Ireland, I'm with Norman Tebbitt on this one. I hope there's a special place for him in hell. Hopefully Adams will be next , at least Mcguiness admitted his IRA past & didn't cover up child abuse, unlike Adams. As for this "peace" we've got. It's more like a protection racket than a peace. What do people think the IRA solider just went back to normal work? They're ****ing gangsters and the fact the head gangster was education secretary tells you all you need to know about the type of peace they've got Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Southampton vs. Bournemouth build up
Lord Duckhunter replied to Pass the Dutchie's topic in The Saints
If they play like they did Sat we will beat them. They lined up 4-4-2 & were outnumbered in midfield particularly first half. Swansea were shiete and couldn't take advantage , but it'll play right into our hands. Davo will be freed up a bit more & he's really good at rotating the ball when we're dominating the middle of the park. The only issue maybe putting the ball in the net and my only worry is we'll see an early season type performance, play well but don't finish. To be fair to Long , since the new year his record in front of goal isn't too bad. He must play rather than JRod , who hasn't done a thing since the game at their place so doesn't deserve a start. Would like to see Simms feature as well, off the bench if Tadic is mincing around again . Can't be any worse than Boufal was sun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Nothing odd about it at all. Obviously Gardos isn't fit or is not up to it, therefore we need someone in case Yoshida or Jack get injured. Same with McCarthy, so if FF gets injured we've got cover rather than a nipper.if there were players in the U21's capable of covering these positions we wouldn't have signed them.Genuinely mystified how you can be mystified Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pickford, maybe , but absolutely no chance of the other 2. Begovic's wages will be too high & Heaton will want a bigger club than ours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Exactly, he'll be a better player for it. The ideal situation would be to get him a loan deal with one of the promoted aides next season or even abroad. I'm not convinced the championship is the best place to learn the art of being a premier league centre half and he certainly won't learn by being sat on our bench. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So how does he get better, or is that it, he's just not good enough. **** him and move on to the next foreign import? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Unfortunately all the greats are nearing the end of the road. The Killer will prob be next. My old mum will be gutted when he goes . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh **** me, here we go again , we had all this pony with Gaston. Being able to compete, being disciplined, being prepared to dig in, not giving up are part of someone's ability. It's not just about mincing around doing a few tricks, if it was Mr Woo would be playing for us. If I posted about Joey Bartons "undoubted ability" you would rightly take the ****, because Barton hasn't the ability to do one half of the footballers job. This guy hasn't shown he can do the other half ( the half Barton can do). Today was one of the most inept sub appearance I've ever seen. Everybody should be having doubts about his ability, because he's shown nothing that indicates he's got the ability to play in England. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's the hardest outfield position for an inexperienced player to play. It's really hard to gain any experience because it's very rare you'll get off the bench if you're back up. It's also hard to come into the odd game here and there, so this run of games will do him the world of good. Ideally he'd have a keeper & centre back partner that actually talked to him and helped him, and to me they both appear very quiet. It's an ideal opportunity for him to learn and develop and also sends out a powerful message to other youngsters at the club & thinking of joining. It's a win/win, he'll get experience & Puel gets to see if he's got something. I've no doubt the ones calling for him to be dropped and replaced by a hired gun passing through, will be the same ones calling him judas if he leaves after becoming a good player. They're a good side at home, haven't been beat since we did it last season,so I don't know what people expect. First half, pretty average. Better second. Bertrand had a funny game, looked a bit out of sorts as was Davo. Cedric played well, Redmond ok before fading & OR looked his normal self second half after a shocking first half . Tadic & JWP anonymous 90% of the time. Don't get the criticism of long, he was just long. He affected the game after coming on , unlike Boufal who was woeful. He's trying too hard . I'm sure there will be plenty of criticism tonight as he seems to have inherited the scapegoat title. Calls for him to be dropped and replaced by our new international & for him to go on loan somewhere. He really wasn't as bad as some made out. Him & Yoshida had no protection first half as the side were poor. When the experienced players stepped up second half , he looked a lot better. His long term development would have been enhanced by today, working through a tough day is a major part of developing as a player. He also played against a system he's not used to, with Son not really playing as you'd expect a centre forward to. Since coming into the side, he's played in a semi final , a final , played against an old fashioned bully at Watford, a smaller striker in Defoe and now a different type today . It's all a learning curve. It took Yoshida 2 years to get used to the premier league & he's an international , yet we expect Stephens to be on it straight away. I say leave him in & let him learn, let him develop and let Puel coach him and work with him. Maybe it could pay off and produce a decent centre half. How is throwing a foreign mercenary in really going to help the long term future of the club? The premier league is where you learn about the premier league, not the championship. The experience he's gaining, good and bad, could be the making of him. Let's not throw him overboard when the going gets tough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No mention in here of Stephens great challenge after Yoshidas poor header Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Souness blaming Bertrand for first goal. Note, not FF or our centre halves or Davis Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
We've no leaders anywhere, we're like little boys. England international goalkeeper , doesn't say a word. Yoshida,Davis are experienced internationals, don't lead , same with OR. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Plenty wrong with it. Should have been drilled it, could of hit anyone on the way in or gone straight in. What's the keepers worst nightmare, a ball whipped in or fanny around on the edge of the box. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
It's men against boys in the midfield , and people wonder why the centre backs are struggling . They're getting no protection at all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
And Tadic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
It was OR & Cedric that cocked up the defending before the foul by Davis, nothing to do with the centre halves Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
