If he wants to go to Liverpool, he'll end up at Liverpool. It may cost them a few quid more, but if anyone thinks we're going to hold out when they're talking about £60+ million, they're deluded. I guess it boils down to why he prefers Liverpool to Chelsea. I'm sure if he's not that bothered which one he goes to, he may end up at Chelsea. But if he's set on Liverpool, he'll end up there. That pinko idiot Michael Hestletine was in The Spectator claiming the Tories are in trouble because their voters are getting older & dying and are being replaced in the electoral roll by youngsters who are lefties. If that was the only story then the Tories would have died out years ago, because it's been the same for 40 years. What keeps the Tories going is the youngsters becoming older & with it becoming Tories. People don't become Tories by argument or persuasion , because the left have the utopian dreams that are hard to argue against. You turn people into Tories by making them householders, business men, give them a stake in capitalism. Show them that free markets work for them, that's how people become Tories. What will **** the Tories isn't the young voting, it's the middle aged people that still aren't on the housing ladder, that haven't had a decent pay rise and capitalism isn't working for. It would probably help if they were actually a Tory Government, rather than a Ted Heath tribute act. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've heard it all now. Tactical voting when presented with a binary choice, cost remain the vote. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lots & lots of political pundits have stated this. They were told by insiders that candidates in marginals were telling people Corbyn couldn't win, so therefore a vote for them would limit Tory power & majority . Corbyn was also kept away from many many marginals and there were no pictures or mention of him on literature. So yes, I believe there were people who voted labour but did not want Corbyn to become PM. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Samuels is right is his assertion that we should have won something, or at least put up more of a challenge to win the cups. However he's totally wrong where he places the blame. It is not The Southampton way, or selling players, that's stopped this happening. It was Poch & Koeman not taking the cups seriously enough. Not that anybody in the media, especially not Samuels will say that. We had the players & it's not like we drew Chelsea or City away. We were best of the rest with some ****kng good players, and we got nowhere near. That's down to the manager imo, not the club policy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There's also the question of their manifesto. According to Michael Eavis Corbyn told him at Glastonbury that he would get rid if Trident as soon as possible. There was also Chakrabarti telling Sophy Ridge that free movement could stay under a different name. Their already rowing back on some key vote winning policies from the last manifesto, give it another couple of years and there will be even more. A part of me wants these nippers & dreamers to get their wish & see a Corbyn Government in action. It won't be me picking up the pieces. It won't be me losing my job or facing austerity that makes the past 10 years seem like a tea party, as I'll be retired & mortgage free when the shiete hits the fan. Unfortunately my children & Grand children will be picking up the tab. They're not bribing them with my money, but the under 40's & future generations money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'd have said it's more like England playing Brazil in the World Cup final. Everybody thinks Brazil will win 4 or 5 nil, but they only win 1-0 aet. Brazil have World Cup & hold it for 4 years, but England players go to Glastonbury & ponce around as if they won it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Correct, there's no lurch to the right. She's a ****ing pinko, just like Grocer Heath, Cameron & Major. There hasn't been a Conservative PM since the great lady herself, the rest could have been in Blair's cabinet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A rich privileged privately educated white make addressing a middle class predominantly white audience went down well. I particularly liked the pics of him in the ale house, pouring £6 a pint beers for the posh kids. At that price you'd need to be pretty well off to afford many rather than a few. Glastonbury sums up the sterile ****ing boring nature of modern rock n roll & modern socialism perfectly". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tower block in Camden being evacuated tonight. Exactly the same cladding. Installed in 2005 under a labour government, labour council & paid for by PFI deal negotiated by labour council. What's Corbyn , Khan & other assorted lefties gonna say about that? Where's the rage? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

He is just the sort of player we should be signing. I really don't get some of the negativity on here about him. The raw talent is there, let's coach & develop him. He's a good footballer, he'll give us more options tactically. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Greeks didn't meet the set criteria, but the EU couldn't use that to stop them joining, because the French fudged it as well. They had to have the French in, so they turned a blind eye to Greece. Whether the Greeks wanted it or not is irrelevant, fiscal rules put in place by the EU were ignored because it was a political project & that trumped everything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Aided & abetted by the EU & Goldman Sachs who both knew full well they couldn't meet the criteria, but fudged it. Greece needs to devalue its currency but is unable to. It has been thrown to the wolves & its people betrayed because ever closer union is more important. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do people understand Talksports business model? It's basically trolling different people at various times, stop taking it so ****ing personally. It used to be great with Mike Dikin, Lofty from east Enders and others, but is just on a wind up now. Mike Graham is the only decent one & he's been ruined by that fat plum Parry Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Some managers do this & some announce the side to the players earlier in the week. It's part & parcel of being a pro. It's not Sunday league where I managed, players would ring me up Sat evening to see whether they were playing ,before deciding how much ale to neck. These poor little mites should do as they're ****ing told & if the manager wants to announce the team late, accept it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
