Do you sit in Kingsland block 35 because the bloke a few rows behind me was coming out with that shiete. He's a clueless muppet most weeks but yesterday he outdid himself. Every time Milner got the ball he blamed Redmond for not closing him down . He complained about Redmond "jogging back" and when Puel made the last 2 subs went potty, shouting "get Redmond off" . Of course he wouldn't shut up about his missed chances. He was lucky it was a midweek game because if I'd had a belly full of beer I'd have probably swung for the twt . JRods better at holding the ball up. He's starting to look like a proper modern number 9. There's a long way to go, but Boscombe and then tonight he's looked really good. Really good performance , especially the clean sheet. I'd have taken 0-0 at the start. I've said all along that our only chance of winning is their complacency . Had we won 3-0 tonight (as we should have) they'd have no no option but to come at us all guns blazing from minute one with a full side. They are at their best when they play like that. Hopefully this result will make them think they've just got to turn up to win and we can do a Beer Shavar on them. OR was my mom, closely followed by JRod. FF looked good and of course VvD was excellent . Special mention for Yoshida , under a lot of pressure tonight and did well. I listened to talk sport on the way up and fans ringing in saying Fonte this & Fonte that. Turned to Solent and Merrington doing the same. I think the debate on whether Sakho's any good or not is pretty pointless . Just does not seem to fit our type of buy. Maybe a loan as a quick fix , but I can't see us buying him unless it's a stupidly low price Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

**** me Carrick isn't a patch on Bally at similar age. I don't misremember anything, I just remember real quality. Morgan was a good player for us, but he's nothing special. He's a French Gareth Barry if you ask me. He's always been overrated on here. Anyway the proofs in the pudding . Let's see how he does for Everton . If we're talking about Hull players I quite like the look of that Maquire. Admittedly , I've only seen him 2 or 3 times but he's done ok . Looks pretty quick and carries the ball into midfield well. Still young for a centre half as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We've no choice than to take a punt on players like this, some work out, some don't . If we only signed " premiership ready " players we'd might as well get Tony Pulis or Fat Sam in and become West Brom. I was in Malaga the summer we signed him & ex pats were raving about him, including a saints fan from Romsey. They were ST holders so saw him every other week and rated him highly. You don't get into the Spanish squad if you can't play. It didn't work out, but that shouldn't stop us from trying to attract nippers like this. One last thought in light of what we know know about Koeman & nippers . It didn't work out, but did Koeman really give him a chance? Perhaps under Puel we may have ended up with the same result, but I can't help feeling he'd have had more chances and more time to develop. I thought he looked nervous in his first return, but not after that. Some players do struggle when they first go back to their original club. It's nothing to do with bottle or going missing, and certainly nothing to do with any stick we may dish out. They may do it for local games , say Boscombe , Brighton & maybe some London games. I guess it's how much of a fuss the supporters who miss out make. There's no doubt in my mind that the Arnham game changed the way the club distributed tickets in Europe and led to the Milan nonsense. Article in tomorrow's paper that states Manchester Utd are making supporters pick up their tickets for Leicester away on the day , and they have to show ID.Says it's common for European games but not been done for premiership matches before . Perfectly describes Clarke, Cleggy, Blair ,Ashdown and the rest of the extremists who can see no wrong with this doomed political project .
