Don't be a chump where have I said there hasn't been cuts . There hasn't been big enough cuts and we've had the mildest form of austerity imaginable. Pinkos like you fall for all the pony chucked about. We haven't had anything like the austerity the Irish suffered. Debt is going up, we are spending too much money. You maybe happy with that and believe all the pony about austerity, but I'm not and I don't. Deficit deniers like you are quite happy running up bills for future generations to pay off. In peacetime our debt is shocking and needs reducing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's because we've just got 2 basically social democrat parties. We haven't had a Tory Government since Maggie & a proper labour one since Callaghan. The pinkos have taken over. Osborne's deficit reduction plan was just Darlings, but it suited labour to shout about cuts . This suited the Torys because the great unwashed believed they were cutting, and were fiscally responsible , when the truth is the complete opposite. We've been conned, we've had a tiny mild dose of austerity, certainly nothing anywhere near what was needed. We haven't even got inflation to shrink our debts and our growth is pitiful so we can't grow out way out of it. Our generation is handing a poisoned chalice to our children & their children Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When are we going to get a Tory budget. Lower taxes, smaller state & lowering debt. As for the NI issue. Isn't it time NI & income tax was merged. It's just goes into one big pot. Of course the reason it won't happen is because OAP's vote & OAP's don't pay NI, whereas they pay income tax. Can't have rich pensioners facing a tax hike when they vote in great numbers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have Sky, BT & a ST. I go to about 10 away games a year. I use kodi to watch about half a dozen away games that I don't go to or aren't on sky/bt. If those games were on via legal subscription I'd buy it. The premier league need to move into the 21st century . I very much doubt attendances will be affected by putting every game on live via a subscription . Games on tv are sell outs week in week out & people watch streams and watch sky , why would that change and start affecting live attendances ? Banning streams won't make people go to games , because they'd have gone if they're wanted to or could of anyway rather than watch a stream. I doubt there's one person who'll say " now it's not streamed, I'll go to the game " . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Only Mings knows whether he did it deliberately. In a court of law it would have to be proved beyond reasonable doubt, in an FA hearing it's the balance of probability. If you look across social media , radio & TV most ex pros & ex referees felt it was deliberate. The problem is if you start judging incidents on the pitch with beyond reasonable doubt, lots of serious incidents will go unpunished. There has to be an element of "we think he meant it" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nobody is writing him off, but we had all this "clearly has talent " pony with Gaston. Talent without application & mental toughness will get you nowhere in the English game. I am not writing him off, but can you honestly say we won't still be discussing him in a similar way in a years time? You never know the Swansea game could become his Villa game. And if you read back through the Redmond threads I was one of those backing him , and took stick for it. Redmond worked hard and was up to it physically, I'm not sure Boufall is Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It was an impact injury, he will recover 100%. Some of you need to stop being such old women. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good job Palace didn't think like you or WGS and went for it against league champions Liverpool in '89. Having got beat 9-0 at Anfield, they took them on and beat them 4-3 in the semi final. Perhaps they should have played for a narrow defeat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I read an article where Lawrie said it was Peter Osgood, getting him in gave him and the club credibility and led to him signing all those other top top players slightly over the hill. My list would include Shilts, who was world class at the time and our keepers hadn't exactly been that before. Keegan obviously & Bally who had a great impact on the club, particularly with Steve Williams. Jimmy Case had a similar impact with Mattys generation. More up to date I'd say Lambert & Jose. Isn't "Community club of the year"the equivalent of "Clubman of the season". Awarded to the useless twt who can't win anything meaningful so is condescendingly given a made up award. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

All this pony about Koeman playing 4-2-3-1 , he changed systems plenty of times . We must have played 3 at the back half a dozen times. We played Long & Pelle as a two on occasions & also played 4-4-2 & 4-3-3. The only bloke who was consistent with his formation was Poch, whereby the Football Manager generation on here complained about " no plan B" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Who Do We Choose To Ship Out This Summer?
Lord Duckhunter replied to View From The Top's topic in The Saints
There's a big difference between wanting out and would be interested in moving to a bigger club. I suspect Bertrand would be open to approaches from champions league clubs but "wanting out" implies he's unhappy. As for the op. I'd want to ship out Forster, Reed, Gardos , JRod & Austin. Loving the posters claiming Puel has changed and is now doing what they wanted all along. Still that's easier than saying they were wrong about him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He needs more consistency to play as a 10. Two decent games in 12 isn't good enough. He was poor at Wembley when we really needed him Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's funny because I've seen loads of centre halves you think could do that, even way back Gareth Southgate , Jamie Caraghar , Chambers was another. I agree about Stephens, yet many don't seem to be able to switch, Diers probably the only one I can think of recently . It's strange really, because you would think they're pretty similar roles and more could do it. However it tends to be normal midfielders who turn themselves into defensive midfielders rather than centre halves doing so Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
