I was in Cyprus in the summer, there are loads and loads of Russians living there. There are Americans in France, Spain and Germany. The pro EU side claiming all UK nationals will be sent home, whilst Russians , Aussies and Yanks can stay is clearly nonsense.

So who else knows about this" hidden agenda"? I would have thought the agenda was anything but " hidden" , the name UKIP is the biggest clue. Oh, I can't wait until this hidden agenda is revealed. Who is going to announce it, cleggy,? Maybe ken clarke ,or are they going to leave it to you. Although it could remain hidden to all but the enlightened ones. Exciting isn't it?
-
You really do spout some nonsense, go on enlighten us, what is this " hidden agenda" What worrys me is the liblabcon's hidden agenda, I don't know what it is or have any proof, but because I post it, it must be true lol.

If someone stops them parading around with their brats I'll be happy. I want to applaud the players not their offspring. One of the things wrong with the modern game, you wouldn't see chopper Harris or bestie doing it.

Thank god the country doesn't take notice of what Williams and other EU extremists say. We'd be in the euro if it was down to that lot. See here's the thing with Europe , the people who were wrong time and time again are the people we're supposed to listen to. The people who told us it was a trading bloc when they wanted our vote, who told us the erm was good idea, who told us the euro was the way forward are now telling us we can't leave, are trying to frighten the people again. What was it the lib/dumbs claimed, that we'd lose jobs if we didn't join the euro, that foregin companies would relocate away if we didn't join the euro, they were wrong then and their wrong now. But at the end of the day it doesn't matter what I want or what you want or what Williams wants, it should be down to the British people. The ones denying the public a say are all pro EU, telling that isn't it.They know that a proper debate and vote on the EU will result in the British people seeing the EU king is in the altogether, they know that having fooled us once, they'll not be able to do so again. Why won't the pro eu side put their case to the British public?

Complete and utter nonsense, are you trying to say that there would be no holiday entitlement if we weren't in the EU, that we'd be swimming around on dirty beaches, that the labour government wouldn't have banned smoking at work, that we had 13 years of labour and they wouldn't have legislated against equal pay and labour protection. Complete and utter nonsense. Do the Swiss not have holidays, do Australians not recycle, are there not clean beaches in Florida? Laughable.......... Have you heard of Interpol? Have you not heard of NATO? When EU nutters bang on like this claiming we would be some sort of slave labour nation and we owe all our social benefits to the EU no wonder people vote ukip. Not one of the things you've listed couldn't be done out of the EU and we are quite capable of negotiating deals and cross border support and agreements where needed. I do like the"support for democracy" line. This from the body that didn't like the Irish or French democratic vote so made them keep on voting, from an organisation that is so corrupt its accounts haven't been signed for for over a decade. "Support for democracy"!!! That's the funniest line on here. As for your line about immigrants working from less being "hearsay" , well Williams made that exact point, she said there were immigrants doing jobs that British workers wouldn't do , because of the pay. This was when she also claimed that unemployment was low.
-
Where has all this " anti immigration" nonsense come from. Ukip are not anti immigration, their immigration policy for the whole world is exactly the same as the liblabcon's is for Africans and Chinese. Are the liblabcon anti African? Anti EU people used to argue about section y, sub section x of treaty z, and nobody quite understood the problem and we ended up with this straight banana nonsense. What Nigel has done very well is to point out the consequence of membership on peoples lives. The established parties tried to make out that immigration is a seperate issue than the EU. Nobody believes that now and hopefully Nigel will move on to other areas after this election, starting with the democratic implications of our membership. I want laws made in UK, 100% of them, end of. One final point about question time. Had Nigel denied the holocaust on Thursday's show, he could have been arrested and sent to Germany to stand trial, this is despite the fact he may have not set foot in Germany in his life. Now, holocaust denial is appallingly disgusting behaviour, but the fact is, it is not an offense in UK law. How on earth people are happy to belong to an organisation that allows British subjects to be arrested for something that is legal in the UK is beyond me. One thing for sure is that if Americans wanted this " right" lefties everywhere would be getting their sandals in a right twist. It seems that belonging to a special club means more to the establishment than rights and freedoms.

Williams needs to retire. Made the quite disgraceful point that there were jobs that only immigrants would do because they're too low paid for British people. She also said that unemployment was low. Had a Tory said that, the lefties would be calling him out of touch . Lucas was actually quite good and made her points well, although I disagree with them. The other 2 were typical of the modern breed of political blaggers. As for the " star of the show". Was that the chump who started with "Nigel please don't interrupt" , and then kept interrupting Nigel. He just ranted personal abuse at Nigel, no reasoned debate or ideas. Aa Lucas showed you can have a debate against ukip without resorting to abuse and personal attacks. All this " let's not blame, The Other" , which was obviously labours sound bite for the night, was nonsense. Surely its a reasonable conclusion to reach that immigration makes housing shortages worse, that for every Romanian working in Prezzo or a hotel, there is one less job for an English youngster. One last thing, afterwards turned on sky news where an expert was discussing the takeover. The point he made was that the UK government couldn't block it alone and that "ultimately the EU will decide" if there was any attempt to block it. The exact point that Nigel made that the Tory and labourite tried to drown out. Overall I thought Lucas impressed me the most, Nigel was Nigel, Williams is batty .

Local elections are important, they can make a real difference . Since the Lib/dumbs lost control of our council, things have been better . UKIP are on the march locally, and this will be a base for seats at Westminster. Paul Nuttall spoke very well about this on The Daily Politics today. Anyway, people will get the chance to see the People's army leader tonight in Southampton. He's on QT , with Shirley Williams and Caroline Lucas, he's going to make mincemeat of those 2. Last week Dimble announced that the old EU obsessed buffoon Ken Clarke was on, but he looks like he's bottled it as Grant Shapps is replacing him.
-
So what's the excuse going to be when ukip do fantastically in the local elections . Do they mean **** all as well?
-
I wouldn't mind going back to 1950's educational standards.
-
Isn't it funny that the people most pro EU are the ones belittling these elections. I know the EU is fundamentally undemocratic, but surely the people of in, should be bigging up EU elections?
-
The biggest load of pony I've had the misfortune to read. But then again what do you expect from someone who swings from the daily mail to the guardian. She is the worst type of gutter journo pretending to be an intellectual. Made up a story that Germaine Geer had a hysterectomy, which had littlejohn or gaunt done would have had lefties calling for castration. Love to see her face when nigels people army shakes things up later this month, let's hope they do better than she did when she stood for election and lost her deposit.

Has katrina got the money to get us to next level?
Lord Duckhunter replied to Roger's topic in The Saints
Spot on. How many times in the past 50 years have we finished above ; Liverpool, Utd,Arsenal,Everton and Spurs. Not many times I'd guess, then add the spending power and size of City and Chelsea and people then might realise what we're competing against.Villa and Spurs have spent millions recently and still haven't cracked champions league and they're bigger clubs than us. -
Spot on. Maybe someone could convince Luke it is in the interest of his career to stay and develop for another year, but Adam at his age needs to go. Put it like this, if he was my son I'd be pushing him to make a move and I speak as a saints fan of 40 years. People bang on about matt , but he didn't go to a world cup, didn't play champions league and hardly opp played for England. Adam is at the top of his game, the right age and has given us his all for a number of seasons. He deserves a crack at the top top level, and sadly that's not us.

Durham gets paid to be a radio troll, and time and time again people fall for it. Talksport is good when its not trying to stir people up. Lofty from EastEnders used to do a really good drive time show, much better than dumb and dumber.

2013/14 Southampton Football Club Player Awards
Lord Duckhunter replied to pap's topic in The Saints
Replace the word Pochettino with the word Redknapp then see what peoples opinion is.If redknapp started being linked to other jobs, if he would stay for a 40mil transfer kitty, if he refused to discuss his QPR future , what would people think. You're right, he's clearly waiting for a better offer and if none is forthcoming he'll stay. As far as I'm concerned he can **** off if he'd rather manage spurs. All this " the players love him" is getting on my tits. Most of them were here before him. Its not like he built the club up from nothing. Nigel and others built the foundations, he took it on from there, but he ain't irreplaceable. Plenty of managers and players have left to further their ambitions and royally screwed up their careers.Nigel was honoured to manage our club , this bloke seems to be using it as a stepping stone. -
The line that because farage is opposed to Europe he shouldn't be in the parliament is laughable. Why do the SNP sit in Westminster, why do welsh nats? Why do lib/dumbs sit in an unelected house of lords?

Some people have such a simplistic view of the world. Not every " banker" caused the financial crash and if you worked in the city you are not " mates" with everybody .Rachel Reeves was a banker, was it her and her mates in the city that caused the blah blah blah.
-
I know the press have a big love in with BR but he blew it tonight. They were never ever going to make up 9 goals, so the only way they could win it is a city balls up. If you picked any midtable team to help you out it would be west ham. They're quite capable of parking the bus and pinching a 0-0. At 3-0 BR should have seen the game out, tightened up and taken the 3 points. It was as if they thought " we've got 3,lets go for 6" to try and close the gap. Never in a million years , would they have closed that gap. The only chance was take the 3 points and hope west ham or villa (who are capable on their day) do them a favour. The nerves may have got to city, a dodgy refereeing display, anything. Rank poor management and being unprofessional cost them. They took liberties and got caught out. I had a sneaky bet on Chelsea at 7-1 last week, as I felt city may draw with west ham , ****ing Norwich cost me that, otherwise they'd be right back in it. City won't blow it now, the pressures off. Even if west ham park the bus, city will take a 0-0 and move onto Sunday. Desperation makes players act stupid and they dont need a win. Liverpool have royally screwed up the best chance for a generation. It'll be a hell of a lot tougher next year.

Before people post nonsense they should check a few facts. UKIP aren't anti immigration, they are anti no controls on the immigration of EU citizens and anti a foreign body setting our immigration policies regarding certain countries. It is for the UK parliament to run UK immigration policy from all countries. Ukip immigration policy is exactly the same as non EU immigration policy from other liblabcon. Therefore, if ukips immigration policy is racist it stands to reason that the liblabcon is too. Should parties be judged on the nutty words of a handful of idiots. Are labour all criminals because of Dennis macshane, are all lib dumbs peados because of smith. In office they've lost laws for fiddling, huhmne for perverting justice and rennard for being a sid James tribute act. Bearing in mind there's only a few of them in government its a pretty unsavoury bunch of shysters. Just look at Huhnes behaviour today. Claims that his conviction was the result of lies and cover up similar to " mid staffs". Yes, the death of hundreds of people can be compared to your speeding points. And, he lied ,but only because he knew that Briscoe was lying as well. This is the man who was within a whisker of beating old cleggy for the leadership. Thorpe, smith, oaten, rennard, huhne, imigane the field day the establishment would have if they were kippers. #doublestandards. Flat tax was in the last ukip manifesto , but is unlikely to be in the next one, that's the way it happens. Parties tax policies change. Flat tax is not a " tax cut for bankers" but an extension of the laffer curve to its extreme. Cutting the top rate of tax does not mean less revenue into the pot, this was proved by Nigel Lawson 30 years ago. There is a legitimate political debate to be had about tax. A % is a %, personally I think a flat tax rate for all can hardly be called " unfair" , surely its the fairest system there is. Everybody pays the same % of whatever they earn. I find it a bit strange that ukip are getting criticised for things in their 2010 manifesto that they can't implement. I would look at libcon promises that they could and didn't. Recall, tuition fees, boundary changes, lords reform.

Now the away days are over for the season, what were your favourite moments. A great season to follow the saints, with a remarkable number of top flight away wins and decent performances. Never really hammered, and not too many dodgy league performances. I was lucky enough to do 10 aways and my highlights were the win at Anfield, the equaliser going in at old Trafford , and the second half performance at Fulham. Low points , dire game at Norwich and Boruc's Johan cruff at Arsenal. Best trip for me was Fulham, some great boozers and plenty of saints fans about. Friendliest locals i found were Norwich. Best pubs; coach and horses Norwich, ship and mitre Liverpool. All in all some great days, well worth the money and some great memories . What does everybody else think?

A taffy in the alehouse I went in after the game was moaning like **** about him and Mitchu. Reckons their big time charlies and their attitude has caused a lot of problems at the club.
-
I despair at the modern players. FFS burger king after the game. These are professional players , its embarrassing, burger ****ing king. Proper players used to be in the alehouse with a couple of bits of snatch on their arm. Bestie will be turning in his grave. Modern players, pussies.
