  1. 😂😂😂 May ‘24. Those evil Tories thinking of cutting WFA, how could they? And to fill the “black hole” in their finances. You know , that black hole Labour knew nothing about. New Broom 😂😂😂 https://x.com/gitgrumpygit/status/1818214604385718394?s=61&t=tf-1MmhVNe6aHN684Fwt8w
  2. Looks like they’ve stuffed their mouths full of gold again, good luck with holding back the rest of the public sector’s pay demands. Stil I can’t complain too much, looks like the old snap dragon will be quids in. Rich pensioners clearly shouldn’t get WFA, but the problem with basing it on Pension credit is that particular benefit is, according to Martin Lewis, the worst in terms of take up. More people entitled to it don’t claim, than any other benefit. It’s one of the reasons Gordon Brown made it universal. Personally, I’d like to see universal benefits end, but I’d have started with child benefit before pensioners. It’s unbelievable that a Labour Government have taken £300 off pensioners but people earning 50k still get child benefit. And unlike the poorest, it isn’t capped at 2 children (as UC is). Strange world, where lefties appear to be relaxed with it.
  3. You must be really pleased with the way it’s going. As well as sorting out the Doc’s they’ve kept the evil Tories 2 child cap, taken winter fuel allowance off pensioners & gone back on their social care commitments. If they keep going like this, they may get my vote next time.
  4. What if they lie to get elected leader, like Starmer did? The direction you’re taking means fuck all, if you don’t take the party there.
  5. New broom? Saying one thing pre election, doing the opposite. Same old broom.
  6. He’s not the only.
  7. Hopefully Labour taking away his winter fuel allowance means he won’t be able to afford £5 next year.
  8. According to Peter Bleksley there’s more evidence to come out that’s even more damning for the “victims”. Don’t know what, I imagine it’s something to do with the reason the cops were attending in the first place. Those “victims” deserve a long stretch inside and the cop needs a conversation without coffee. If this was a one off (nobody has seen his record yet), then he should be allowed to continue his career.
  9. It’s also complete pony or as The IFS put it “not credible” to feign surprise. They knew full well the state of the finances, the OBR figures are there to see & oppositions are fully briefed by The Treasury. They’re trying to create their own Liam Byrne “no money” narrative as cover for tax rises. If they didn’t know about it, god help us. Every single party used fantasy economics during the election campaign. Just goes to show for all the fawning pony on here, they are just the same, and the new broom is as new as Triggers.
  10. What group do you have in mind? French, Irish, or maybe those militant Sikhs? Where do you think the main threat will come from?
  11. If I was interested in leading the party, I’d sit this one out. Absolutely nothing to gain from being LOTO at this moment in time, but a lot of downsides. Look at William Hague, fucked his career before it had really started.
  12. FFS, get back on topic…. What does she think of Soggy?
  13. Shame “Mental Gymnastics”isn’t an Olympic sport, some of you would be nailed on for a medal in Paris.
  14. Fucking laughable. They don’t agree with it so much, they subjected MP’s to a three line whip & withdrew the whip from those that wouldn’t vote to maintain it. If you think it’s wrong & contributes to child poverty you oppose it no matter which colour of Government. The great thing about this issue is it shows the true colours of you lot. It’s not about policy or about principles at all…..
  15. Clearing the back log, in other words granting asylum.
  16. Johnson, the bloke that won the biggest Tory majority since Maggie? The bloke lost so heavily because he called an election at the wrong time, & then ran the worst campaign in living memory. That together with Nigel coming back….. The problem isn’t the members, it’s the ridiculous pinko parliamentary party’s rounds of voting. They try & gerrymander the result by “lending” votes and other such nonsense. Instead of having one vote with the top 2 or 3 going to the membership they contrive to give their favoured candidate what they think is the easiest run off. They’ll try and do the same & keep Kemi off the final ballot this time. They will try & get Tugentwat against some dud if they can. The fact is out of the last 4 leaders that stood in a GE, the 2 where the members didn’t get a vote ran absolutely horrendous campaigns & the two supported by the members won majorities. Yet the members are the problem 🤷

  18. It gave them Cameron & Boris, who both won majorities. Whereas Sunak & May weren’t endorsed by the members & didnt. May couldn’t even hold onto a majority against Jeremy friggin Corbyn, & Sunak suffered their worse defeat for 100 years.
  19. I see Raynors off to Italy, I presume you condemn that? After all she’s only been deputy PM a couple of weeks and “she’s off already”.
  20. “What’s wrong with this country “. Look at these wankers. Mincing around on pride days, sending 6 officers to arrest someone for hurty words. Yet running away when real coppering is needed. https://x.com/thesun/status/1814251360671412595?s=12&t=tf-1MmhVNe6aHN684Fwt8w
  21. Armstrong is a championship striker. Scores goals against championship keepers, championship defenders and championship sides. Nothing I’ve seen from him convinces me he’ll score more than a handful of goals at Premier league level.
  22. Really? That’s what makes you such a great guy, you think outside the box. Well done, great post…
  23. Had Soggy blamed the far right yet?
  24. Hopefully he doesn’t
