So we're just waiting for the FL now then.........no worries
-
Russian tycoon, please go on.........
-
Why do you assume this?
-
According to the Echo the Swiss group WERE negotiating with creditors: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4467677.Potential_foreign_owners_in_late_night_Saints_talks/
-
Apparently there was some damage to a wall that use to have a picture of a train hanging on it
-
......or the Swiss ?
-
This would all be highly ammusing if it wasn't our club. i don't know whether to laugh or cry
-
This makes a lot of sense to me, but I am starting to worry now that the FL will NOT give any assurances because they fully intend to deduct additional points when we fail (for good reason) to produce a CVA. Without this assurance Pinnacle won't sign. Perhaps I am being over pessimistic.
-
I agree. "certain aspects of the agreement need alteration, without which it is our firm belief that you would be exposing the Club to risk" I think this is the most telling part of TL's statement. It's been my concern all along that the real sticking point is the possibility of further points deductions.
-
Good to see he has a sense of humour, he'll need it looking at this forum.
-
Go on then, post what you have heard.
-
If the 'offer' from the FL is: League 1, -10 pts deduction, no right of appeal and a guarantee of no further points deductions then surely Pinnacle should accept this. I think at this late stage this would be acceptable to most people.
-
This looks fairly positive news (if true). It looks like Pinnacle want to push their 'right to appeal', I just hope this does not create an impasse. You have to feel a bit sorry for MLT, he quite rightly has been speaking to many people in the game for advice etc. and thanks to a couple of photos everything assumes it's KK for manager. I just hope the deal goes through today.
-
I reckon moving house is less stressful than this
-
Yeah, there's only one Kevin Keegan!!
-
I was at school and seem to remember spending most of the day arguing with a mate whether KK was a midfielder or forward!?
-
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, yes he is buying SFC.
-
Can you be a bit more specific!
-
Well here goes, my last post. I do feel at bit torn here as apparently from what I've read on this forum he wants to remain anonymous which (I think) is perfectly understandable, at least until the deal has gone through. I think we should at least try and respect this and so sorry but I am not going to name him. However his name IS mentioned earlier in this thread. I know I'm going to be slated from some on here but there you go. Please be assured that if this info is correct (and it did come through a number of people before getting to me) then the company he part owns is pretty big with a turnover of ten's of billions and he is in the Sunday Times rich list. Once again sorry if I come across as a smart-arse ITK'er bit I just don't feel comfortable naming him. Hopefully it won't be long before we are all put out of our misery.
-
Well I went for Kevin Turvey in an earlier post (does anyone remember him?). Do I get a second chance?
-
Well I am now officially ITK. I've been speaking to a senior manager of a prominent company in Southampton who told me the name of the company owned by our potential new owner. I have subsequently found his name on the web. It is a name mentioned on here in one or two threads but means nothing to me. I have to say browsing the web site I feel quite confortable with this guy should my info be correct.
