Even if they do have 'loadsamoney' they would not neccessarily make a massive bid. Remember the lower the amount they can pay to secure the purchase of the club then the more they have to invest. There is bound to be brinkmanship on both sides.

Massive potential for any new owners regarding rugby. Southampton Sporting Club comprising Saints FC and Saints RFC (Northampton won't like it). I think rugby could get good crowds. I'm ready to be slated !!!

I think many people are getting very emotional about all this, and undertandably so...it's our football club after all. But whether we like it or not it is very much a business deal/decision now. I think very few if any people on here really know what's going on and that's the way it should be. Let's just hope things turn out for the best.

I believe he is the money behind two new 'Gary Rhodes' restaurants in Christchurch and also a large development of luxury flats. I also believe he is/was Glenn Hoddle's agent. Would not be surprising if he was involved in some way with a bid.
