I think I've fallen in love with this man! :smt054

Q. Why is Steve McManaman about to be appointed Director of Football? :
-
TBH I think you are spot on. I think some of the deals for Adult + kids are very good i.e. £19 for an Adult + under 8 but £25 for an Adult in the centre does seem a bit excessive. Not everyone can justify splashing out on a season ticket as they can't get to so many games so I'm sure £25 is putting a number of people off coming.

Thanks for all the info, very interesting. Did Jaidi look fully fit, do you think he will start on Saturday?
-
It's interesting how the general mood of this thread has become more positive as posts have come in from people who were actually at the game.

Detailed report here from BBC: http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/8246492.stm Look forward to hearing reports from those at the game.

Interestingly, we have now played four of the top six teams. A good result today, unbeaten now in four. This all clutching at straws however, we really need to get the win next Saturday.

Davis Thomas Jaidi Trotman Harding Papa Morgan Hammond Holmes/Mills Saga/Lallana Lambert When I chose the above the only two positions I had to think hard about were LM and RA. I do wonder whether Lallana's best position is in the hole ala Rooney, especially having Papa out wide. God I hope Papa lives up to the hype.

I'd go with: Davis Thomas Jaidi Trotman Harding Papa Morgan Hammond Holmes Saga Lambert

Coppell lined up as Director of Football - online report (or not)
iansums replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
Pure speculation apparently: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4585840.Coppell_not_lined_up_as_sporting_director/ -
I can only assume the kid spoke Italian, because Papa doesn't speak much English.

I've been about 4 times now, always very good. One time (v Barnsley) we were upgraded foc to an executive box. We were next to a box full of Barnsley fans and it all got a bit lairy when they went 2-0 up (all good banter to be fair). Imagine how I reacted when we equalised in extra time only for Barnsley to go straight down the other end and win it! I was with the wife (first ever game) and daughter, they both saw another side of me that day.
-
Yeah, but did you tell the directors what you thought of them? (one in particular )
-
You do realise that you are approching 'God' like status with your posts don't you? :D
-
I'd go along with this and Perry for Lancashire. I don't know what it is but I've got a feeling about Rasziak that AP is going to get the best out of him and that he's going to stay, in the short term at least.
-
I believe he actually lives in Milford-on-Sea and I've also heard how much he and his family like it down here. If he does want to play in the CCC then the best way of achieving this is by working hard and playing well for us and scoring goals. This may result in a transfer in the January window or dare I say it promotion with us
-
Can you repeat that please.
-
Hope it's someone who can get the best out of Ricky:

For me the most positive thing was the quality of the signings we have made. Murty and Harding were excellent. Two or three more of the same quality and we will have the makings of a very good team at this level.

I don't post a lot, the main reason being I spend most of the timing reading posts and pmsl. There are number of people on here who not only support the club but want to bloody well run it too.

Both fined two weeks wages, well that will help towards paying the debt

Interesting article in the Times mentioning both Saints and Poopey: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/article6736178.ece Not a comforting read for the Skates
-
46: Saints Sub: Gillett and Murty ON Wotton and James OFF Surprised those two were'nt on from the start.
-
By 'early bird' you mean paying before the club sold all their best players.
