  1. Good shout, I had forgotten about him. I would also like to see Dowie. I think we have to accept Strachan, Keegan & Shearer would not be interested in managing a League 1 club.
  2. I agree with this. I don't want Tony Adams. Like many others I would love WGS to come back to the club, I just don't think it's going to happen. If TA was to be become manager I would be very disappointed but it would make no difference to my support for the club. I realise this makes me mental, wibble wibble
  3. You mean, similar outrage to when Strachan was appointed?
  4. Fantastic news. Read what he says about holding himself responsible for our position. Total, total respect to the guy.
  5. This thread is f*****g unbelieveable! Our new owner (God bless him) can employ whoever he sees fit to run the club. I have far greater respect for his ability to recruit the right people than some of the 'experts' on this forum. I have to say some of the opinions on how the administrator should do his job (on other threads) were laughable. We should all stick to opinions on football.
  6. Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss get in there!!!!
  7. Todays Echo article now on the web: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4479991.The__ideal_owner__for_Saints/
  8. 'Tension builds' they've been looking at this forum again!
  9. BBC report states: "Before a deal can be completed, there are several issues that have to be sorted out, including the Football League carrying out a period of due diligence on the club's prospective new owners." Anyone know how long a period lasts?
  10. So we're just waiting for the FL now then.........no worries
  11. Russian tycoon, please go on.........
  12. Why do you assume this?
  13. According to the Echo the Swiss group WERE negotiating with creditors: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4467677.Potential_foreign_owners_in_late_night_Saints_talks/
  14. Apparently there was some damage to a wall that use to have a picture of a train hanging on it
  15. ......or the Swiss ?
  16. This would all be highly ammusing if it wasn't our club. i don't know whether to laugh or cry
  17. This makes a lot of sense to me, but I am starting to worry now that the FL will NOT give any assurances because they fully intend to deduct additional points when we fail (for good reason) to produce a CVA. Without this assurance Pinnacle won't sign. Perhaps I am being over pessimistic.
  18. I agree. "certain aspects of the agreement need alteration, without which it is our firm belief that you would be exposing the Club to risk" I think this is the most telling part of TL's statement. It's been my concern all along that the real sticking point is the possibility of further points deductions.
  19. Good to see he has a sense of humour, he'll need it looking at this forum.
  20. Go on then, post what you have heard.
  21. If the 'offer' from the FL is: League 1, -10 pts deduction, no right of appeal and a guarantee of no further points deductions then surely Pinnacle should accept this. I think at this late stage this would be acceptable to most people.
  22. This looks fairly positive news (if true). It looks like Pinnacle want to push their 'right to appeal', I just hope this does not create an impasse. You have to feel a bit sorry for MLT, he quite rightly has been speaking to many people in the game for advice etc. and thanks to a couple of photos everything assumes it's KK for manager. I just hope the deal goes through today.
  23. I reckon moving house is less stressful than this
