Only saw the back of his head but yes, I'm sure it was him. Shouted "let's be havin ya" in German to Delia!! Nice to see him at so many games. Oh and Mrs Cortese looks even more lovely close up

I was lucky enough to be in the MLT suite today with seats for the game just behind the directors box. It was very interesting to se some familar faces. Mick Channon, Francis Benali, Killer. But I was most surprised to see Mark Wotte.

Don't feel any great sympathy for Ireland as I still haven't forgiven them for 1988 Euro's  We hear a lot about today's footballers getting in trouble for violence (Gerrard and marlon King to name two). If ever someone was justified in decking Thierry Henry then it was last night. I am amazed that no-one confronted him, Richard Dunne even sat and talked to him gently patting him on the arm.

I tend to agree. I think every team needs a solid holding midfielder to protect the CB's. Wotton has done an ok job there but I would like to think AP is looking for someone else in January. I'd have thought that it would suit Hammond but perhaps he likes to get forward too much.

We have not kept a clean sheet for 12 games. Only 3 clean sheets all season. Something is wrong here. Is it the defence as a whole, lack of pace in the CB's or the lack of a decent holding midfielder. This is really costing us at the moment, 5 points dropped in the last two league games. Please discuss. Any suggestions to be forwarded to AP.

Not according to AP at the recent forum. KD does an awful lot in his role as club captain off the pitch.
-
How do you know this?
-
The club has been saved; the debt has been cleared; attendances are up (even though we are in Div.3); we are unbeaten in 8 games; we are steadily climbing up the table; we are scoring lots of goals; we are playing entertaining football and the pitch looks as good as ever. No, I'm quite happy to let ML & NC do whatever they see fit for this club.

What impressed me most about last night's game was our tempo. Straight from the kick-off we were playing at a high intensity, closing people down, we were all over Charlton. Shame about conceding a goal, I stll have concerns about our defence. I am not as convinced about Jaidi as some on here. I would like to say how well Waigo played, his work rate chasing back was excellent. He also did well in the build up to the second goal. It's good to see we have a few options all over the pitch.

Wrong, the guide dog is washing his hair.

Sorry, don't know what I was thinking of. Now where's Alpine tonight?
-
It won't be the end of the world if he leaves. Yes he's done well and always gives 100% but we do still have problems at the back. We are conceding a lot of goals and I am concerned about a lack of pace at the back. It's like when a good employee leaves your company, you think 'How are we going to replace him (or her)?'. But quite often things will work out for the best. And you can bet AP is prepared for whatever may come.
-
But what happens when it's no longer the fashion? You're stuck with it.
-
Was a little strong I admit, thought I was Alpine for a minute. Just don't understand the point of them, never have, never will. Same with body piercings.

I seriously think people who have tatoos have got a screw loose  They are for insecure people who think they need to somehow 'show their individuality' when in fact they are simply following the crowd.
-
Think that was before today's results. Still top but level with Millwall.
-
Yeah, they have fallen to pieces since beating us. Time for revenge!
-
Totally agree, and the important thing is that AP HAS changed things round to get the result. He is not religiously sticking to one system. I think he probably will start 4-4-2 soon, probably at home. A lot of people see 4-5-1 as a negative formation, I don't agree.

Have you spoken to you brother yet?

I see we are still 3rd in the form table: http://www.4thegame.com/statistics/league-one/tables/currentform.html Great comeback today. Clearly just one of those days where we struggled to finish off the chances. Nice to see we are now 5 games unbeaten. 4-5-1 or 4-4-2, I'll leave that one to AP, I have every confidence in him. I am just a bit concerned about the number of goals we are conceding, it's a long time since we kept a clean sheet. Look forward to hearing the views of those at the game.

This is a shame. After what we went through I wouldn't wish administration on any club............................ ................ well perhaps one
