Magnificent performace from the whole team last night. It seems unfair to single anyone out but I have to mention Fonte and Puncheon. Fonte is class and it's no coincedence that since he arrived we are beginning to keep clean sheets. Puncheon, also class, how refreshing to see a player so comfortable with both feet.

I think the form from the beginning of this year gives us the best indication of how we'll do next season. Seeing as we are looking at statistics, in the 8 games that Fonte has played we are unbeaten and have had 4 clean sheets and conceded just 4 goals. I think that Fonte could possibly be our most crucial signing of all.

I apologise to Alpine and Glasgow unreservedly for enjoying this season so much, I realise now it was wrong of me. I promise not to attend any more matches this season, including my first ever trip to the New Wembley as I am particuarly concerned that I may enjoy that day even if we were to lose. This is the problem. AS and GS seem to revel in the negativity and actively look for things to moan about. They are like a couple of old women: The thing is we are all disappointed with another draw but it's not like we are a million miles away from where we want to be. We are unbeaten this year (in the league) and only one of those was a home game. I for one am thoroughly enjoying this season.
