  1. Feel a bit sorry for Harding as I thought he was excellent last season. However it does show massive intent on our part and gives us a few options. Now for a couple of quality RB's.
  2. Ban the f***ing things! If the South Africans want them in their own games fair enough but don't ruin it for everyone else.
  3. Totally agree, the worst commentator on TV.
  4. I was until I saw Andy Townsend's shirt, I had to turn away
  5. SRS wants to know if he paid for the turf in installments!
  6. What percentage of football clubs are in debt? pretty high I would have thought. We are not in debt, I suppose we should be, is that right? It's all getting a bit tedious now, I think you've made your point.
  7. Thatcher would be unelectable now, she did polarise the country and in many ways yes she was a 'lucky' PM. But, I for one thank her. The country was in a terible state in the 70's. She destroyed the unions which had to be done and Labour quite rightly did not repeal the legislation. She laid the groundwork for subsequent governments.
  8. Not a chance. Although he did very well there in the JPT Final he only played there because Thomas, Murty and James were all out injured and Semi was cup-tied. Actually, this is another one of Alpine's ridiculous threads.
  9. Perhaps Luker and Cortese are retards and have lost your email address, or is that not constructive enough for you?
  10. Many thanks, so compared to you I'm a retard. As I said you have a very high opinion of yourself.
  11. LOL, hilarious post. Are you being serious? You appear to have a very high opinion of yourself.
  12. You'll need to explain to me then.
  13. Just because 1300 people signed up last year does not mean that 1300 will not renew. Some people prefer to spread payments others (myself included) prefer to pay up front. This is being run as a business i.e. maximise income to ensure we can afford the best. Strange for a football club, I know.
  14. Yeah, let's slag Cortese off for this as well
  15. Interesting that he has come from Man City. Probably because he can see that we want to develop our youngsters as opposed to simply splashing the cash. It's pleasing to see that ML's money is being spent on the long term development and infrastructure of the club. Just compare this with that lot down the road. Virtually every penny spent there went into the players (and their agents) pockets. PFC as a football club has been left with nothing, scandalous.
  16. Was she a bit sauce...y?? I'll get my coat.
  17. Of course, the ultimate comedy name. I remember being in a pub with a coach full of England fans on the way back from England v Scotland in Euro 96 when someone did that one. The poor young barmaid was walking round shouting "Has anyone seen Mike Hunt", brilliant
  18. Just read this article: http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/8187376.Golf__Vineer_shines_for_US_college/ Is that name for real? What were his parents thinking? It did get me thinking about other amusing names I'd come across such as: A lady who worked in the accounts department at a previous company with the surname Fidler. A guy who worked for the company Chubb with the surname Lock. Has anyone else got any good ones?
  19. Don't let hard facts get in the way of paranoid speculation
  20. SRS - ignorant c*nt
  21. That would affect me, well my daughter actually as all the child benefit goes direct to her account. But I have to say this would make sense. My problem with this child trust fund is that it is more of 'the state will help make it better' when people should take more responsiblity for themselves. It also meant money going to people who simply don't need it.
  22. I didn't suggest that! It was a ridiculous idea because we can't bloody afford it!!
  23. Absolutely necessary. They were a bloody ridiculous idea. Of course soon they will probably cut back or means test the child allowance which I won't be happy about but to be honest I (and many others no doubt) don't need it.
  24. I think he is a good role model apart from those ridiculous 'chavtoos'.
